I used to do this before as my PAD when I had debt, I would pay £1 plus whatever pence (if any) to round down the account every day. My CC company probably thought I had lost the plot!FootyFanDan said:
Ooo I like the idea of £1 rounding down and every bit helps right. Another one here who has over indulged and needs to get my food in order.LittleMissDetermined said:Happy Tuesday guys and gals, hope you're OK.
This week seems to be whizzing by, probably because I have been so busy but it won't last as I don't have my day off until Friday this week so it will end up feeling like a long one.
It's not a NSD for me today as I am out tonight, but I need to be home early so I am taking the car and spends should be low. It also means I have less calories in diet coke than in wine or beer.
Today's PAD was £6 - £5 to the sabbatical as usual and then £1 rounding the bank down to the sealed pot. My personal spends account was sitting at £201 which was messing with my OCD...
As I am out tonight I won't have time to go to the gym today, but some cooking and cleaning will mean that I'm not just sitting on my backside
That's about it from me, oh - I'm on book 7 now, still loving reading.

Morning, morning and happy hump day...It's still very dark outside here but the birds are cheeping away and it sounds lovely! I have a really busy day today and at some point I need to throw some ingredients in the slow cooker for the casserole tonight.
It's a NSD for me today, too busy to spend today. My PAD is £75.80 which is the usual £5 to the sabbatical, £69 from dice rolls to my £10k saver and then £1.80 change from last night to the sealed pot.
I was out last night so didn't get to read, but I will hopefully make up for that today, especially as dinner will need little prep once it's in the good ol' slow cooker.
Still on the diet, trying hard to be good. Which is hard as we still have 'Christmas chocolate' left, and a whole bottle of baileys. Meanwhile I am 'enjoying' a meal replacement shake for breakfast! Oh to be a naturally thin person, I'd be so happy!
Anyway, that's my update today
Much love

Well, what a week! And it's not over yet, although today is finally my Friday. I've been so busy, both in and out of work I am very much ready for a long weekend. I do have plans this weekend too but I'm hoping Saturday will be a no or low spend and Sunday will be fairly relaxed.
It's definitely a no spend day for me today, I've no plans to go anywhere except the gym and I don't need anything. The PAD was £56 which was made up of £5 to the sabbatical as usual and then £51 to the envelope challenge, which had been added to the sealed pot.
I finished book 7 last night and have now started on a new one
I still have loads of books in my 'to be read' pile too...
That's it from me, hope you're all having a great week!

A bonus for me this weekend is that due to cancelled plans, both Saturday and today are no spend days! I do enjoy having no plans so I’m definitely not complaining 😊Life gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2026 1p challenge #7 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £4220/£60001

Morning all and happy Monday! Hope you all had a nice weekend? I really enjoyed my cancelled plans and I even managed to finish my book and start another yesterday.
I have a really busy work day today due to being off on Friday and I have no plans this evening so today is another NSD for me. For my PAD I have sent the usual £5 to the sabbatical today. Over the weekend and with 'spare' money (is money ever spare?) I filled another envelope which I am pleased about
Have to dash, work calls

Hi everyone, I hope you're OK? This latest storm is a wet one eh? I had to force the dog to go out this morning...he's now in a sulk with me.
It's pay day for me today so there's a lot of money flying around this morning, all with a job to do though! I've PADded £676 in total, to travel, sinking funds and to the sealed pot. It won't be a NSD for me though as I am out tonight as usual.
I am not sure if I have mentioned this before (forgive me if I have) but on my pay day I make a microloan with LendWithCare. This morning was my 12th loan of £15 to a business in 3rd world countries. The loan gets paid back to supporters over a set period, so 6-36 months. I class it loosely as an 'investment', but even if a loan defaulted I would just think of it as a charity donation really. It makes me feel good to think I can help make a difference to peoples lives.
Anyway, I'm struggling a bit with book #9 and I think it's because I have been really busy and haven't had a good reading session to get a few chapters in at once.... It's my day off tomorrow so I should be able to get a good stint in before I go out in the afternoon.
Can't think of what else I need to tell you all... nope, I think that's about it from me. If anyone is interested in the lending let me know, my referral code should get you a free £15 loan added to your account.
Catch you all tomorrow!

I think LendWithCare is a great concept LMD. Compared to many others we are in relative terms mega-rich.

I was hoping this rain wouldn't get much heavier - seems not then!
