Now for a healthier, wealthier me

Hi everyone, I hope you're well? It was a late night for me last night so I am very tired this morning but I have calls for most of the day so there'll be no slacking!
It's a NSD for me today, not going anywhere to spend anything and as far as I know there's nothing I need or want. I have added £114 in dice rolls (!) to my £10k fund, and £7.50 in change to the sealed pot as well as the usual £5 to the sabbatical today... no too shabby!
Finished book 2 at breakfast so will start on book 3 at lunchtime if I get a chance, if not, it will be this evening
Off to make a brew before call No1

Hi all, late in the day for me as I am off today and I slept in and then have been busy round the house. Our plans for this evening have changed due to the weather so it's an unexpected NSD for me today
It also means I should have some healthy budget left over for the sealed pot tomorrow which I may allocate via the envelopes challenge.
So, today's PAD was £52 envelope and £5 to the sabbatical fund. I have no plans this weekend which is nice, I can just please myself and as long as the dog gets walked and everyone gets fed there'll be no pressure
Book 3 is coming along nicely, this one was a Christmas gift and I'm very much enjoying it, think I will go and read for an hour after my budget updates with a nice cup of tea.
That's it from me, off to update the envelope challenge now

Good morning and happy frosty Friday! I think I am going to hibernate for the weekend...I'm definitely a summer-girl at heart

Today is budget reset day and due to a low spend week I had £53.80 left over which has gone into the sealed pot as 2 additional envelopes for my challenge. I don't really like going out when it's miserable weather and dark so we may possibly have some left over next week too!
It's a NSD for me today too, work is already busy from me being off yesterday and I have lots of meetings today. I remember the good old days when Fridays were a bit of a toss-off... not any more!
Book 3 is almost done and I do think it will be finished this evening so I am already doing well
That's all from me though. Be safe everyone, this storm is a bad one.

Hi all and welcome to the weekend
I finished my book yesterday and started a new one between finishing dinner and the Traitors starting... This one isn't as easy to get into, but I have to consider that I was clock-watching and only had about 25 minutes so I'll give it more of a chance today.
I have already done the grocery shop this morning and this evening's dinner is in the slow cooker, I've decided to take myself into town for a bit of a potter, I need some herbs and spices from the market and I'll have a look at some of the charity shops to see if they have any books I fancy. I have 4 to drop off too. DH may come along too and we can get a bit of lunch whilst we are there.
My PAD today is just the £5 to the sabbatical fund. Nothing else happening in the accounts.
Have great weekends!

Well, my potter round town turned into seeing a friend, lunch, a few drinks and dropping off my wedding rings for re-coating... that's gotten expensive since last time I had them done! I have 3 rings, at £50 a time... admittedly I don't have them done as often as I should and I just used my buffer sinking fund as I couldn't think of a more fitting pot and it's so rare I have them done it's not worth setting up a separate one.
Aaaanyways, I am not going out today. I will read my book, drink hot chocolates and allow my bank account to recover itself
PAD today was £5 to the sabbatical fund as usual.
Hope you're all OK and that you're staying safe and warm

Good morning and happy Monday! I am glad to see the back of the freezing weather, and no longer dealing with extra worrying if family have made it to work safely.
I have no plans today so it's a NSD for me today, work is already very busy so I don't know how much of my book I will get to read today as I will probably be eating at my desk rather than taking a break properly.
PAD was just £5 to the sabbatical today, nothing else happening until Wednesday dice rolls
Have lovely days!

Hopefully we have seen the back of the cold weather Ant, I did a 'whoopsie' on the ice in a car park last week and pulled my back, worst of it is I KNOW there will be some CCTV of it providing entertainment for security personnel somewhere...
So, we are at Tuesday (my fake Friday) and I am hoping for a quieter day although I still have half a dozen calls to get through... I'm off out tonight so it's not a NSD for me. I'm not driving either so I may have a few wines given I don't have to be up early tomorrow
I have PADded £5 to the sabbatical today, that's all but better than nothing. My EF may have to get used over the next month or so, we have problem with a broken shower tray/enclosure and I have a fitter coming to see what the cost will be later this week. I think it's just become brittle with age, nothing we have done to cause it. Fortunately we have another bathroom we can use in the meantime, would have been scuppered in the old house and resorted to going to the gym for a shower!
Anyway, that's my updates done, still on book 3 but hoping to get that finished today.
