Hi all and happy Monday, I have a super busy day today so I am taking advantage of an early morning caffeine boost before work gets mental. I'm off out tonight too with my sister so no relaxing after work either.
The weekend was really busy, and Saturday was spendy but I managed a NSD yesterday as I was just cleaning and tiding, trying to get DSD on board with staying on top of her room so we spent a few hours re-organising so that she had more useable space. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
I hadn't been declaring my PADs over the weekend because I was s busy in actual real life but today's included the sabbatical £5 and our mortgage payment, along with £5 to the envelope challenge. I am glad I am alternating big ones and small ones rather than doing it randomly this year. Ther's a lot of engagement in the thread which is good as I think that means it's useful to others.
Not much more to add today... I hope everyone is OK

Apologies, I have been AWOL again. This time for an entire week... my bad.
Lots of things have been going on here, work is exceptionally busy for me, we have had illness in the house and our garden deck has collapsed and needs to be replaced. We spent a good few days pulling it all up and getting it to the recycling centre. Hubby wants to replace with composite so it lasts longer, but I believe that the previous owners hadn't done the subframe correctly and that's contributed to the issue we are now facing. I'm sure he will do some research and decide what's best.
Anyway, that's our current drama. I can see this will take a hit on my savings, but that's what they are there for and at least I won't have to use a credit card.
finance wise, this last week has had a few NSD's and I've been adding to the sabbatical and challenges as I usually do. Today's PAD was envelope 47 plus the 35 to the sabbatical which is now just under £2600 so that's still steadily rising.
Anyway. Lots to do, I will try and keep posting this week as it keeps me on track.

Hi all, I hope you're enjoying the glimpse of spring we are having at the moment, it certainly makes me feel a bit brighter in the morning and it means hubby can continue working on the garden.
It's anther busy day for me, but I'm not out tonight except to go and collect DSD later. I did manage to do a bit of decluttering yesterday and I finished another book and started the next. I am absolutely loving that I've gotten back into reading, it's so relaxing, I've no idea why I stopped.
Not spending today, I've no plans and nothing I need to buy. I'm off tomorrow so I will be spending, but probably low spend on a lunch out with DH, I think I will either be helping in the garden or crafting other than our little lunch out.
PAD today was just £5 to the sabbatical, I will be rolling the dice in the morning to add some funds to the sealed pot as usual for a Wednesday morning. Not sure if I will get a chance to post tomorrow, but if I don't, I've not gone AWOL again, I promise
That's all from me today, hope you enjoy the sunshine!

Yes the glimpse of spring has been nice LMD, hasn’t it? I decided I didn’t need any kind of coat today, but it certainly wasn’t especially warm today, and I noticed nearly everyone else in town was wearing one
We had similar problems with our decking some years back. Now we’ve got decking that gets treacherously slippy if you’re not careful. Bit of a first World problem I know but it’s on the list to sort. I realised this morning that I didn't update my signature with the end of Feb financial position so that's been done now. It's going to be a NSD for me today, and probably for the remainder of the week through to Sunday, we have no plans and it's my birthday the following weekend so we will be spending then.
Today's PAD was just £5 to the sabbatical, the sealed pot is now tantalisingly close to the £3k mark, so I'm certain left over budget this week will tip that over.
That's it from me, same old stuff really. Work, cleaning, reading, cooking, budgeting. That's pretty much it, hubby is still planning what we need for the deck so I'm not sure what the damage will be there just yet... keep your fingers crossed it's not horrendous!
Have good days ahead

Good morning and happy Fri-yay! It's already been busy with work today so I am just having a well earned coffee and thought I would do my updates before my next call.
It's a NSD for me today, no plans at all... DSD is trying to persuade me to go out tomorrow but I was really looking forward to just having a weekend at home with the ungodly F1 hours for the Australian GP. I will need a few naps
My PAD included £5 to the sabbatical and £60.80 to sinking funds and the sealed pot which is now over £3k so I am really pleased. We are looking at a November holiday this year rather than January 26 so it will definitely come in useful!
That's all from me, I have a stonker of a headache this morning, probably from concentrating too hard.

Morning all, I'm so very tired today from the weekend but I am pleased with the results. I think it will take me a few days to recover the middle of the night 'get-ups'.
It's a busy day today and I've been logged into work since 6:30, I'm off tomorrow though so I might get a chance to have a lie-in. Depends on the dog haha.
It's a NSD for me today, as was yesterday. I'm out tomorrow night but then that's it for this week I think. We will see.
PAD included £6 envelope and the usual £5 to the sabbatical

Just a quick whistle stop addition today, it's a NSD and I've PADded £80 to savings. I've no plans today other than work and housework. Boring this real life malarky haha

So, I've been missing again as I've been really poorly with a chest infection. It basically ruined by birthday and I'm not even 100% (or even 80%) now but I can't be off ay longer as it's doing my head in not knowing what I'm walking back into.
Anyway. I have still been PADding, not really spending. The decking, we have decided is being replaced in 2 parts as one part is covered and is therefore in better shape and can probably do another 6 months or so. The first section is coming in at £1800 for the materials, hubby will be doing the work but it's a 'dear do' as we say. I guess if we had someone in to do it, it'd be eye-watering! Anyway, I need to think about where my £900 contribution is going to be taken from. I don't really want to use the EF, but I guess that's what it's there for. I don't really want to touch my car sinking funds as Insurance is May and the MOT June...
Anyway, today's PAD is just £5 to the sabbatical. I'll roll my dice tomorrow and then I get paid on Thursday.
It's not a NSD today as I have ordered some craft things with my birthday money and they will arrive in time for some weekend crafting to cheer me up.
Right off to work I go

The 2 people I knew who have had recent chest infections had to have antibiotics to shift themLMD, so don’t be afraid to go to the Dr if it hangs around27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 51
