Morning! Happy Fri-yay and Happy Valentine's
We have got past the point of gifting on Valentines day but DSD boyfriend has told her something will be arriving in the post for her today so I am listening out for the postman whilst she is at work
It's a NSD for me today, not going anywhere to spend so that's a good thing. I did spend quite a bit yesterday though, I had a new crafting machine for Christmas and I needed to order some new materials... I spent almost £90 yesterday on that, but it should last me for quite some time! It was costly as I buy it in bulk as it works out much cheaper that way.
PAD was £5 to the sabbatical as usual plus a utility bill. Not much going on in the accounts at the moment which is a positive. I'm pleased that I have my sinking funds to cover the materials and such for my hobbies though. It means I can order what I need and then build the funds back up again.
That's all from me
Have great weekends!

Happy Tuesday! It was my day off yesterday and now I have 4 long days... which now feels like I made a mistake choosing Monday to have off
Late today as there's real life stuff getting in the way and I've been busy this morning. It's not a NSD as I am off out tonight as usual, Tuesday night is team night.
The PAD today was £5 to the sabbatical, and yesterday I filled my 24 envelope so the sealed pot had a boost from that. I have cashed out my rewards from work perks and once they hit the bank I will fill another extra envelope or 2
I had a no spend Sunday, and I am planning a fair few more no spend days this week, I don't have any other plans this week and I also have no plans at the weekend so I am hoping to save quite a bit over the next week or so from my allocated spending budget. At some point I will need some petrol, but that's an essential and doesn't count.
That's all, short and sweet today. Back to work I go!

Dice roll day, so I've added £75 to the sealed pot this morning from that, as well as some change to the physical tin and the usual £5 to the sabbatical. It's a NSD for me today, and no plans for the remainder of this week.
I'm all snuffly again, and I feel like I could sleep for a fortnight! It will definitely be an early night for me tonight.

Hi all and happy Monday, I hope you're all doing OK and had a great weekend. We managed to get out and do a bit of sorting in the garden on Saturday, the sun was lovely and warm and it makes me look forward to the start of spring.
It was a no spend weekend for me, I had no plans and I'm still feeling poorly so it was probably for the best really. I don't have plans this week except for Tuesday, which I'm driving for so it should be a low spend evening. Today will be a NSD for me.
This morning I have PADded £52 which was £5 to the sabbatical and £48 to my envelope saving challenge which contributes to the sealed pot. It's pay day on Thursday so that's also something to look forward to.
I started this post at 8 this morning but with one thing and another in our hectic life it's now almost 2pm... sorry about that! There's definitely no rest for the wicked these days

I have 2 more days before pay day... And then we have the short month so it will soon come around again I think! Although next month is my 'birthday month' as DSD keeps calling it, when did it go from a day to a month??? I can just about get my head around a 'birthday week'
Not a NSD for me today, as it's Tuesday and I am off out tonight with the team, I am driving this week though so it will be a low spend anyway. I have also been on Vinted this morning and bought 2 dresses, this is funded from my 'clothes' sinking fund, and they are for my birthday celebration plans next month so it's for a purpose and not frivolous spending. On top of which, they were about 25% of what it would have cost me if I'd have bought it in a shop.
Today's PAD is £5 to the sabbatical. I have the dice rolls tomorrow but it's my day off so aside from PADding I won't be spending time online really. I am going to spend a day with my friend at her house. It won't entail spending though as we have non-spendy plans - we are having a crafting day!
That's it from me today, it's a nice quiet day for me as both DH and DSD are at work and won't be home until I have left for the pub. Just me and the pooch, who hasn't even surfaced yet! I'd better go and rouse him from his snoozing and take him a w-a-l-k
Have great days!

Yesterday was awful here too Antomac, there were moments of promise but it pretty much piddled it down all day
Hopefully we will start to get some better weather soon.
Today is pay day for me and I have already moved money around so it's where it needs to be for the month. I woke up really early with the dog and couldn't get back to sleep so I thought I would make productive use of my time. I'm also going to start work early and maybe have a longer lunch to get the grocery shopping out of the way before it gets busy.
It's going to be a NSD, aside from the grocery shop, there's not much happening today and the food is classed as an essential spend. I always go armed with a list and only deviate if there's something out of stock, it's an old habit which definitely keeps our spend down. I am out with family tomorrow but i think I managed 18 NSD's in Feb, so not too bad really.
The PAD today included the usual £5 to the sabbatical and £108.50 to the 1p challenge. That's December's allocation, I am hoping to complete it by October as it's part of the sealed pot. I also sent some funds t he sinking pots, including some earmarked for my birthday celebrations later in the month.
Hope you're all OK
LMD x

Good morning and hip-hap-happy Friday! I hope you've all had a good week, the sun is shining already here in Yorkshire although it is very cold. The pooch has returned to his big fluffy bed and I can't say I blame him!
Today is a very busy day at work to end the week, I'm pretty much back to back so I need to try and squeeze in mini-breaks when I can, or my back will get stiff and I will dehydrate!
Not sure if it's a NSD today as we are aiming to go out for food tonight with family but not sure if my dad will be on board so I will see what happens. He can be a bit fussy and stubborn and we are planning it as a surprise so you can see how it could all go awry!
PAD today included £5 to the sabbatical as usual, it's been a good month on the PAD thread, not only due to the lovely @Keedie becoming debt free but it's a good total for the shortest month regardless, it's amazing how it all adds up over the month!
And so, to the 'reckoning' for Feb and my totals...
Sealed pot £2725.85
Emergency fund £1035.19
Sabbatical. £2541.31
Travel funds. £1900.17
Sinking funds £3249.58
Total £11452.10
So, that's an increase overall from last month of £1375, not bad at all, although I did have the money gifted from my dad which helped. I have to go and start work now, have great weekends guys!
