Yes, I do tend to trim the previous replies in that situation, although sometimes if the conversation is taking place over a few days the context can be useful. Nested quotes are usually collapsed so that only the most recent is visible. While I do tend to reply to the most recent post without quoting, when someone does come along and reply in the interim and muddy the waters for my response, it is then a pain to edit in a quote.MikeyPGT said:
The problem with the 'quote button' is when you're replying to the last comment in a long 'to and fro' - your post can run to almost a page!masonic said:
We have a quote button for that. Post numbering gets messed up when people delete a post or threads get merged or split.Telegraph_Sam said:Could we (~~ the moderators) not introduce a post # reference system so that it is obvious which post I am replying to ? !. The thought is not originally mine I confess.1 -
The rates being late means it's free right? RIGHT?
tracker pricing is out and in this area is 1.4p cheaper than today at 24.4 - so with that in mind you'd hope for very slightly cheaper segments tomorrow I guess0 -

Not great tomorrow either and I'm WFH too
If emoncms is anything to go by, Sunday is bad which is unusual for a weekend0 -
We'll probably see a higher peak than usual for a Sunday, but the early bird may catch the worm. Looks like I'll be getting as much done on Saturday as possible.RavingMad said:Not great tomorrow either and I'm WFH too

Anyone has any ideas how today's budget changes may impact Agile prices?
MSE suggests that SVR rate will drop by 3.5p from April 2026 - will the same apply to Agile rates?0 -
Agile hasn't been updated in a long time. Not even the standing charge.Newbie_John said:Anyone has any ideas how today's budget changes may impact Agile prices?

The standing charge differs for new joiners. I doubt it was ~47p for my region back when they launched the tariff!masonic said:

Are you saying there are people grandfathered into ancient versions with lower standing charge? The standing charge jumped in July 2022. Since then they raised it successively in small increments until October 2024 where it has remained ever since.Spoonie_Turtle said:
