Hmmm...interesting - I was working from the perspective that the predictor shows a sharp uplift from 2300🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Nordpool is showing very cheap electricity till 5am, maybe as low as 1-2p/kWh but not negative.
Yeah, the 22:30 is always interesting, I do wonder if there's some extra formula used for that slot as it often indicates prediction for the coming night - and when you compare average yearly slot of 22:30 and 23:00, the first one is a few pence cheaper (but it could be that estimation 30.5h ahead is much worse than 7h).1 -

Could it be to manipulate the load shifters more specifically to a set time?0 -
Not been on Agile that long, in the North West today, just a couple of queries on my Octopus app it says tonight at 22:30-23:00 its 0.00p, but on the Octopus website looking at the half hourly rates the last one is at 22:00-22:30 is 5.73p.Why are they showing different things, why is it missing from the website and what is the price 23:00 to midnight? I have seen the missing half hourly rates before and no idea why.Thanks0

There's a strange quirk that when the price is zero it doesn't show on the graph.
You don't see the last price of the day until the 16:00 update, to show the next day's prices, on the day. (if that makes any sense)1 -

23-midnight is always shown the next day - can't remember if that's also the case during summer time, but you always get rates till 23 only1 -
It worked with me, certain things I run occasionally washing, bread, dehumidifier etc. - I've delayed by a day seeing 0p at 22:30 hoping better prices will followzoonyx said:Newbie_John said:Nordpool is showing very cheap electricity till 5am, maybe as low as 1-2p/kWh but not negative.

and there we have it - the 0p was indeed a sign of things to come!
Edit
Hang on though - there's a glitch. Anyone else got their 22.30 - 2300 costs missing on the Octopus half hourly prices? I've literally got that timeslot missing!
