DW emptied and run on a hot wash with white vinegar, WM run with towels (annoyingly the last clothing run needed was done earlier on in the day!) and set to tumble those as well - and it’s now tumbling again to finish them off with drying. MrEH set the bread maker up to bake a loaf overnight which I have just taken out so the place smells amazing too! I need to raid the freezer in a bit to see if there is anything I can stick in the oven later really although we’re out this afternoon so that might not work. MrEH put the lights and underfloor heating on in the garden office overnight too - although with the way that retains heat since the door was replaced I suspect that hasn’t used as much as he might have though it had! Bathroom U/F has been on too so cosy underfoot when I went in there first thing!Once MrEH is up I’ll get the bedding stripped - that can wash this afternoon on the cheapest slots - might even get it line dried this evening by sticking it out as soon as we get home.So far we are 11kWh used and 9p of credit showing - I’ll take that!
What I have, however, discovered is that even on an overcast day like today, without using electric heating (which I don't really need right now), just the WM & TD aren't even using all the solar. So it might be time to look at moving back to Flux for the higher peak export rates.0 -

What works for some users won't be the same as for you. Look at your own data and make you own choices. And for some where SC went up rather than down, no change was beneficial .0

Well that's the standing charge for today covered - house will be getting hoovered this afternoon and the rest of the bedding still to washDebt Free Wannabe by 1 December 2027

Deep seated hatred of Scottish Power and all who sail in her - would love to see Ofgem grow a pair and actually do something about it.0 -

At 64p sc and being a low user Agile is now of no use to me, as the SC just kills stone dead any savings, which has been verified by the octoapp over the last month, plus with tracker i no longer need to timeshift anymore, but i assume octopus have kept the sc this high as they do not really want anyone on agile that does not have battery or solar, with the later no doubt negating such a high sc totally.1 -

No battery or solar here & working out great. As said earlier just signed up for another year even though the S/C has gone up a penny , nothing better out there for us tariff wise.2 -
I've switched off the solar as there seems to be more sun than interval. In fact I'm seeing the highest irradiance of the year, so far, at over 950W/m2 for brief intervals.2

Looking good for tomorrow, too - if not quite as good as today.2

Exactly. I'm reducing supply and increasing demand to stop the grid frying and trousering cash for my trouble!
Whether I'd have trousered more from just carrying on as normal, is another matter. Assuming it is a Hawaii day, then my Agile payback target is about £3, so I doubt I'll break even. Still, it's the thought that counts!1 -

Still, it's the thought that counts!Same here, I figured I'd need to consume in excess of 12kWh just to break even relative to the SEG I'd be giving up, so we've gone for a more targeted approach today of just trying to maximise our usage (re everything on) for a few most lucrative 30min slots, rather than trying to max out everything all day and fry the consumer unit. Hopefully it's cloudy in those highly negative slots.1
