Went out to unplug the car and realised I'd forgotten to switch the charger on in the first place. Pah!
Probably made more on solar exports, despite the gloom. Mustn't grumble.

In my experience, if you want to leave a fixed tariff early (which includes Agile), you must email Octopus at the "hello" address and state the tariff you want to move to. They will then send you back an email with your new proposed change and a link where you can accept the new tariff (or simply do nothing).
Be careful though: Last time I asked for this they showed a change back to the flexible gas tariff in addition to electric, which I certainly didn't want, and when I asked them to correct this, they did so but then changed the date at which the electric tariff would change to some random date a few months in the future.
This makes me wonder whether this job is being done by an LLM, frankly.

I've changed tariffs by foing to the specific tariff page and pressing the button to join (whatever it actually says). I switch between Agile and Cosy this way without having to surmount the AI e-mail hurdle.

Its interesting to see how prices are either high or negative these days.
Price depends on gas - 20p+/kWh.

So hard to understand the underlying forces here. Why Friday? No rhyme or reason to it. There seems no correlation to sun; no correlation to wind; no correlation to industrial demand. As an engineer, it makes me quite uncomfortable.
Why?

There is a spike in wind generation, but saying that a huge huge drop on Saturday..

How do you know that? X2r is predicting nothing cheap on Saturday but a plunge on sunday..
