Thank you all ❤️ I am ok. Finding it very difficult to post at the moment but I try to read others. My sister only came for 1 day as she’s back at work but we talk or WhatsApp every day.

Dad’s car is sold & collected. I am trying to get insurance quotes. So many questions and different excesses & endorsements 😵‍💫🤯

Went to my friends for cuppa and managed to trip & fall on uneven paving on her driveway 😩 Had a cuppa and cake to aid recovery and now home and relaxing. Aching ribs & wounded pride 🤦‍♀️

Credit card bill & funeral invoice has arrived so will be visiting his bank for payment of funeral expenses. Insurance will be a big hit but I will be able to claim back once probate granted.

Off to stay with DS at the end of the month. £175 in the visit family pot. By then dad’s house should be empty and insured. Will be ready for a rest.
    0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
House sale OCT 2022 = NOW MORTGAGE FREE 🤗
House purchase completed FEB 2023 🥳🍾 Left work. 🤗

Retired at 55 & now living off the equity £10k a year (until pensions start at 60 & 67).

Thanks for the post SYA - You post as little or as much as feels good to you - you are grieving and I can only imagine what you are going through now.  We will be here if you need us xx

Well done on getting the car sold. That’s one less thing to ‘look after’ now.

Sympathies on the fall - I always find they shake me up more than I ever realise at the time. Be kind to yourself and I’m sending you a hug x

Glad you have the visit to DS to look forward to 😊
