It's not stupid, I get very anxious about having people in to do stuff, and it's even worse when they don't turn up!

Thanks Time2count, jwil & SQS. Nice to have some cheerleaders 😊

Parcel arrived this afternoon & fence is now arriving tomorrow afternoon 🤞

Went to buy piece of guttering with DF £1.80 which he then fitted for me. Don’t know what I’d do without him. Also picked up a lemon drizzle cake to take to friends house & had a big slice 😈 DF doesn’t like cake otherwise I would have given him a big slice.

Plans for rest of this week & next
Friday- (tomorrow) aquafit in the morning & in the afternoon friend coming for cuppa & rest of cake 😋 & Fence  being delivered.
Sat - tip run with DF 9am & then taking him for a cooked breakfast.
    Sun - day of rest
Mon - HBA 1c blood test in the morning
Tue - Aquafit in the morning then lunch & shopping with friend (not buying anything I will be returning stuff for refund)
Wed - going to dentist with DF at his request to help him fill in his medical history on a tablet
Thu - niece and baby visit (they have been on holiday)
Fri - off to Dsis & family for weekend at east coast

Am ready for a rest 😆

    Thanks dia 😊

Aquafit was very enjoyable this morning. Home for lunch then friend came round for cuppa just as ice-cream van arrived 😁 so we each had a tub of soft ice cream with nuts, choc sauce and flake 😋 I have sliced the remaining lemon drizzle cake into tiny slices & put in the freezer to stop me eating it all in one go!

Fence arrived at 4.30 pm & it looks really good out the front now that the herringbone blocks look clean & rotten fence replaced. DF came down with some dwarf beans & orange tomatoes (they are meant to be orange not red). I have got tandoori skinless / boneless chicken thighs roasting in the oven & a tray of courgettes, peppers, butternut squash and onions. Kitchen/ Diner smells lovely.

We are going to the tip in the morning 9am then off for breakfast.

Make sure you're drinking lots of water / squash when it's warm, so easy to get dehydrated and sometimes not feel well the next day.

    Cake and meals sounded delicious.

Glad your parcel arrived, annoys me when they fib saying delivery attempted.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

    Thanks SuzeQ & MF 😊

Sunny morning for tip run & then we went for breakfast. I had a large breakfast (2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, mushrooms & a few baked beans and 2 cups of tea. I told them to leave off the 3 hash browns & 2 toast and it was still cheaper than buying items separately or buying a small breakfast & adding extras. DF paid as it was his turn ☺️

Back by 11am & it started raining. A couple of showers throughout the day. Have just been pottering. Did a few jobs indoors, cleaned out my birdbath and refilled it then planted the 4 cyclamen plants in between the rain. Have spent the rest of the day reading a book & watching bits of the olympics.

Sun has just come out & blue sky again so I might just go for a walk.

  • Another lovely sunny day ☀️

Have been for my blood test. Got weighed and have lost just over 1kg in 3 months and even though I was not aiming to lose weight I still feel a bit disappointed. 😞 Will have to wait and see what the blood sugar results are. Feel like it’s been a long 3 months trying to lower carbs & sugar so I will be very disappointed if I don’t hit my target. BMI is in the healthy range so I suppose that’s a positive

It is a positive and sounds like you're at a healthy weight so try not to feel disappointed that you haven't lost any more as it seems your body is where it needs to be.
