Still 12 NSDs, but the car is back on the road and the invoice is paid.
On the positive side- being stuck at home today means I have one very tidy room and dinner used up lots of bits of food from the fridge.

Morning turtles!
NSD 8 yesterday (I think). I managed another long gym session at lunch and did some packing after work.
We have run down the fridge/cupboard contents almost completely so bf will need to fend for himself when I’ve gone. I’ve helped him with a pared-down list as he says I’m better than he is at meal planning.
grateful for discovering that the profession of “paper restorer” exists, although it sounds obvious I’ve never thought of it (from repair shop programme) for brekkie this morning with bf, for looking forward to seeing the sea and feeling the sun on my face.Student loan £5655

Thursday 23rd March 2023
The weather is undecided - the sun breaks through and then the clouds come back
Whether the weather be fine
Whether the weather be fine
Or whether the weather be not
Weather the weather be cold
Or whether the weather be hot
We'll weather the weather
Whatever the weather
Whether we like it or not
Me: Hmn will it be hot, cold, sunny, raining or snowing today
April: Yes
When life is undecided
When confronted with a challenge. the committed heart will search for a solution. The undecided heart searches for an escape (Andy Andrews, The mind journal)
My heart swings back and forth between the need for routine and the urge to run
I passed the hardest moments of my life alone, whilst everyone thought I was fine (bluebillion)
Don't let anyone take you back to a level you already levelled up from
Catch your breath and get back up
Because even when things were hard and you were afraid of everything that was going on in your heart, you were still growing and making progress, even if you didn't know it back then (Dhiman)
I love asking small children what they want to be when they grow up because I'm still looking for ideas

thriftylass said: I usually hang some Easter eggs on the apple tree in the front garden here. Sometimes I'll get forsythia cutting from the garden and bring them in. I'm not keen on the little wooden eater bunnies my mum gave me years ago. I'll be going back for Easter and need to pick up some ideas again, forgot loads of Easter traditions, more a Christmas person.
Any excuse (Christmas, Easter, Halloween) and we get the decorations out.
Enjoy your trip home, @thriftylass. I'm sure you'll find some lovely ideas! X

P.s. I think I need a considerably bigger branch to fit everything on!

NSD 8 for me today (I think). I was working all day, so nothing bought - though I wouldn't have anyway, as the shopping was done yesterday and I don't need anything! The day started off bright and quite pleasant, but had become cold and windy with heavy rain by early afternoon
Thankfully OH rescued the washing off the line before it got too wet, and hung it on the airer.

Happy birthday to Mr ThriftyT!Today I am grateful for finding baguettes for tomorrow, for training for my new job going well, for dc having a fair day, for water, for having somewhere warm to dry off after getting rather wet.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!8

My back and knees are quite creaky today (even when I wasn't doing anything. So never made it downstairs but continuing to tidy in my room (with frequent breaks). The bed is now back in place, the window side of the room is sparkling and drawers have been audited (very little in there now). Absolutely everything has been moved off the floor (the lamp has been manoeuvred out but I had to work out how to hook it up when it went dark as the central light bulb has not yet been replaced). It's currently on my right side, between me and the door.
Lots to sort (slowly) - I'm struggling but I must defeat this mountain of paper scraps. Lots of useful bits found including foils with just a few pills left. In between I have done lots of reading and watched part of a drama series.
Grateful for getting things done, the floor being clear, not crying despite being on the verge for most of the day.9 -

. Good job as nothing will be done tomorrow as I am doing a 100 mile round trip for a training session. I put £25 of fuel in the tank this morning, but put it on the wrong card - it was supposed to go on my credit card.
I have totally misjudged my money this month, I shunted too much too soon into savings (nice problem to have, not complaining!), but I think, with a bit of a wriggle, I can feed us mostly from stores until the end of the month. Feel like I am wishing the month away though. I need to stop doing this and plan in something fun to look forward to. No Limbo from April onwards. New Mantra.I spent £30 in Mr T's last night, but my receipt says that I saved over £50 on pre YS prices - a 10 Kilo sack of basmati for £3 was not being left behind. I got a dirty look off the checkout lady for all my YS's. Jealousy is soooo unattractive.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸7
