Yesterday was NSD 7. 

Grateful for nice lunchtime video chat with Mum, OH getting home early, for DS enjoying his new football training class, for the good TV series OH and I are watching just now, and for lighter mornings.

Morning turtles,

Yesterday was ideal, it was a bank holiday here. Had a slow morning, meditated and wrote a bit and then went for a long run around the park. Thought I’d keep going around until I got tired, which happened a lot later than I thought! Stopped to listen to the birds tweeting and guitar player warming up, then had a go on the adult swings. It was lovely. Back home and made bf some food who was hungover and feeling sorry for himself. Did some more writing and then watched TV for most of the day (it seems hangovers are contagious) oh, and it was an NSD, so I think that makes 6. 

Grateful for cherry blossom in full bloom, for having only 3 sleeps until my holiday and for my health and energy.

- no not been at the gin early, just motivated and have got loads done this morning, and am off to the tip      recycling centre to dispose of some rusty old metal curtain poles and tat, which will clear my hall completely - hoorah!!

Sorry for the silence but nothing at all happening here. Still waiting for date for a scan and not really getting out or doing anything other than reading and watching TV. Himself is following me around making sure I don't do anything. I'm getting really bored.

Ooh my car is empty of cardboard, rags, metal  and clothes, and it is now tidy! yay!

Most of the house is tidy and hoovered too . Good job as nothing will be done tomorrow as I am doing a 100 mile round trip for a training session.  I put £25 of fuel in the tank this morning,  but put it on the wrong card - it was supposed to go on my credit card.

I have totally misjudged my money this month, I shunted too much too soon into savings (nice problem to have, not complaining!), but I think, with a bit of a wriggle,  I can feed us mostly from stores until the end of the month.  Feel like I am wishing the month away though.  I need to stop doing this and plan in something fun to look forward to.  No Limbo from April onwards. New Mantra.

I spent £30 in Mr T's last night, but my receipt says that I saved over £50 on pre YS prices -  a 10 Kilo sack of basmati for £3 was not being left behind.  I got a dirty look off the checkout lady for all my YS's.  Jealousy is soooo unattractive.

Today I am grateful for the sunlight, for light at the end of a particular admin tunnel, for a good line management meeting, for my book, for working with some lovely people.

NSD#12

Did yoga & Norwegian. The friend who's flat we're staying in messaged about arrival times & is going to collect us from the airport 😊 one thing less to worry about!
Had a carp day at work. The pupil is struggling just now, but it's hard going for me as their support person, now it's been happening more on than off the past 2 weeks. Finding it hard to relax & switch off from it tonight. Had BSL training after work, had a laugh as we were told that how we used to do the sign for a diamond (we were signing Twinkle Twinkle little star) is actually the sign for your lady bits! 🤣 Pleased we learnt the correct sign, so we didn't teach the children the wrong one! 🙈
Hadn't been home long, when there was a knock at the door. Had forgotten a customer was coming, luckily I know her & that she wouldn't mind the mess!
DS1 helped me wrap DH's birthday presents, then after tea I did some sewing. Had a long bath to try & relax - didn't work!

Grateful for friends, a warm sunny day, another small sale on a local selling page

Still NSD 12. Just milk and bread, so minimal spending today. 
Really glad to see snowdrops and crocuses popping up all over the place just now. 
Car hopefully getting sorted out tomorrow, and cost not too ridiculous. 
I have a list for tomorrow- the chances of finishing it are slim but hopefully I will get enough done to make a difference to the house.

Grateful today for the sunshine in the day, and the rain tonight, both of which have made me feel alive (I love to be in bed with the window open when it rains!); for making what seems to have been the right call and adjusting mum's painkillers down during the day - she isn't in pain, and has been much more alert and mentally herself. We'll see what tomorrow brings, but am greatful for the conversations we could have today.

I was pretty tired yesterday for no apparent reason but still managed a long gym session at lunchtime. It was NSD 7, the weekly shop I did at the weekend seems to have already run out and we are on rations again. Bf also sneakily ate the snacks I was saving for hol travel!! but we have enough to stretch until I go on Friday. 

Grateful for 2 sleeps until I go to Tenerife, for having more energy today and for crossing things off the to-do list.
