Best price for heating oil?

hi i feel i ought to warn people about the messing about i have just received from heating oil.co.uk agreed to be delivered on 7th jan. 3rd jan bayford oils turned up with the oil and their driver decided he could get down my drive in his lorry (its a farm drive and wagon bigger than theirs go up and down all day) so i try to contact heating oil, what a joke, if you have a problem they do not answer emails there is no phone number to ring and in the end i had to deal with bayford oils myself because faceless phoneless heating oil didnt care, if they where the only oil company in england i would have the central heating system changed immediately rather than use that company. if you want 4 days of grief try using them if not stick to a company you can speak to to deal with problems......

When you look on their site they do not mention service as one of the great things you are guaranteed!

BoilerJuice gave me a quote of 49.22p/l today for 500 litres. This is for delivery in Warrington, Cheshire and comes to £258.41.

If there are any other posters in this area, please let me know so we can try sharing the delivery.

Just ordered oil today 40.20 + vat from Goffs in Norwich. Rang round a few local suppliers then phoned Goffs who always seem to be able to beat the cheapest quote. It'll be a good idea if we can all list the prices we pay for home heating oil & who the supplier is, then we can all benefit.

I live near Great Yarmouth and CPS seem to always come out cheapest for me (I live in a small village though so not sure if this affects prices). We dont need oil for a while yet though so hoping prices dont go up too much.
