We’ve recently completed with NatWest via a broker
19 June - decision in principle
12 July - offered on our new home
13 July - offer accepted
14 July - application submitted
24 July - desktop valuation completed
24 July - mortgage approved
26 July - homebuyers survey complete
August/September - few rate drops and broker got interest rate updated
25 Sept - exchange of contracts
27 Sept - solicitor drew down the funds
28 Sept - complete and got the keys
Super smooth process with NatWest via the broker we used, no chain but the seller picked the completion day ans we made it work but probably could’ve completed early September but suppose we benefited from a couple of rate drops so can’t complain too much
all the best with your purchase1 -
