Several working days on and still no update. Gone from 2 working days to 6 for the KYC team to review this one document to just provide the address.

    Bit frustrating...
  • Application put in 4 weeks ago and on 23rd June more payslips were requested which were supplied straight away and still nothing!! No valuation has been booked in and we are no further forward! Ahhhh

Problem is the waiting times currently. We're subject to offer but one document had an incorrect postcode so it's literally a tickbox exercise for their KYC team yet it's TEN working days for this to get sorted. It's absolutely outrageous.

Slips will take at least 10 days for an underwriter to approve. Wouldn't worry too much about the valuation

FTB here purchasing a home with my husband (both employed) on a 75% LTV.

Before we put our mortgage application in I read through this forum & I assumed it would take us weeks to get approved, but it only took 5 days?!

01/06: mortgage application submitted (via a broker)

    05/06: bank valuation (desktop)

    06/06: valuation report

    06/06: mortgage offer

Did they request any additional documents bar the ones you gave to your broker during the initial application?
nope, no additional documents were asked - our deposit is a mixture of gifts, LISA's & other savings, our broker was pretty good and made sure we had all documents ready before submitting!

Our application submitted via broker on 01/06 just before the last interest rate hike.
First time buyers with 90%LTV. 2 applicants, one in full time employment.
It's been 3 weeks....still waiting. Some additional questions were asked and documents provided about 2 weeks ago.
This forum has helped me stay sane but I don't see any other recent posts?
Not sure I can handle another weekend of anxiety over this...

Where on the tracker are you?
is it at stage 1 assessment and valuation?
We don't have view of the tracker, it is all done by the broker. So it is hard to gauge at which step we are at. The broker assured me that he is waiting on NatWest. Might be easier to be able to look at something, rather than nothing!
you could ask your broker for the reference number? thats what we did, gave us much more clarity & relief being able to see the tracker

Finally had the doc reviewed. Any idea how long it should take for the offer to arrive? (All docs approved)

Once all our documents were reviewed it took 48 hours I think?
