Thought I'd add my journey so far. It is for a remortgage with NatWest
13/03/23 - Full application went in and hard search carried out, valuation instructed.
13/03/23 - All documents submitted
14/03/23 - Valuation completed
15/03/23 - Valuation amount confirmed by NatWest as matching
20/03/23 - Radio Silence......
After a week of the tracker just saying they were checking the documents we sent in, I finally decided to call in myself and they told me the application was stuck between teams and no one had picked it up. Very annoying tbh, they said they would put a high priority on it and it should be checked tomorrow.

FTB here purchasing a home with my husband (both employed) on a 75% LTV.
Before we put our mortgage application in I read through this forum & I assumed it would take us weeks to get approved, but it only took 5 days?!
01/06: mortgage application submitted (via a broker)
05/06: bank valuation (desktop)
06/06: valuation report
06/06: mortgage offer

Has anyone had NW come back and offer less than the required loan due to something in credit file. Does this mean possibly something I disclosed wasn’t given to them?0

Did they request any additional documents bar the ones you gave to your broker during the initial application?inama said:FTB here purchasing a home with my husband (both employed) on a 75% LTV.

Our application submitted via broker on 01/06 just before the last interest rate hike.
First time buyers with 90%LTV. 2 applicants, one in full time employment.
It's been 3 weeks....still waiting. Some additional questions were asked and documents provided about 2 weeks ago.
This forum has helped me stay sane but I don't see any other recent posts?
Not sure I can handle another weekend of anxiety over this...

is it at stage 1 assessment and valuation?0 -
We don't have view of the tracker, it is all done by the broker. So it is hard to gauge at which step we are at. The broker assured me that he is waiting on NatWest. Might be easier to be able to look at something, rather than nothing!ohgoodgrief said:
