Valuation finally booked in for 27/07, how long have people waited for the offer after the valuation?

it’ll be 8 weeks since submitting the application and I’m going crazy, seems to be no reason for the delay and a straight forward FTB case.
Gosh that’s so long! Have you called them? Our valuation was booked the same day, and they’ve received it and ticked it off but nothing. They asked our broker for a new payslip showing a raise and what the increase in student loans would be and we sent it today but that hasn’t shown on the tracker so we have no idea what’s happening. Combined with us all being stuck in a tiny flat with covid were going out of our mind!

@MrsSpaniel We had our valuation on 11/07 and then mortgage offer on 20/07, crossing my fingers it's not long now for you!

Hi, does anyone know if this means they have issued us an offer or could my credit mean they could still pull it?
    Thanks!

Finally had the doc reviewed. Any idea how long it should take for the offer to arrive? (All docs approved)
Once all our documents were reviewed it took 48 hours I think?
What documents did you have to submit? I’m planning to make an application next week. Is it just main bank account, payslips & P60?
Slips, Recent Statements from your main account and P60 should do. Ensure that all docs provided have the correct address details and ensure your broker keys everything in correctly. There's currently a 8-10 day wait just to get to underwriters and additional 10 day wait for additional documents to be reviewed so it's important everything is perfect first time around. There's no escalation process with Natwest either just be thorough.

Thank you again for this information! Pleased to say we submitted the application yesterday (26th July) and already received an offer (27th July). Just over 24hrs, I can't believe it! Onwards to the surveyors and deposit release now!
  • Valuation results came back the next day.

NatWest have asked for a damp and timber report to be completed, it’s an old house so I presume that’s expected.

It’s been arranged and booked in.

Has anyone had any experience with this? What if they find something on the survey? What would NatWest do?

From what I’ve read it sounds expensive.
  • Just wondered if anyone had any updates on recent timelines with natwest, I’m doing a transfer of title and I am self employed…

Full application with Natwest MA - 14th July
Call to say issue with self employed income - 21st July
More documentation supplied - 24th July
Above documentation added to mortgage tracker - 25th July

Haven’t heard a thing since, the original MA I was dealing with is on leave for 6 weeks and have a contact to get in touch with her colleague who I sent the extra info to… have sent a couple of emails since and haven’t had a response. Any advice? Just worried it’s taking all this time and will still come back as a no and I should be looking elsewhere in the meantime?
  • Ours was submitted through a broker on 21st June and just through this week!

I found the live chat function on the website most useful for chasing when it felt the broker had no updates.  You go through ‘Cora’ then ask to speak to an adviser. Tended to be a couple of minutes wait but was always put through and given updates.  Might be worth trying?
  • Hello does this mean for me it will be an in person valuation,
  • does this mean it's an in person valuation wonder when it will be booked for
  • looks like it. NatWest employed ensurv to do ours. I had been worried about a down valuation following reviews but the man we had from exurb was really fair and listened to our points about the local area and the comparators we had found.
