I've just received the same text (albeit with a switch date of 9/3).

That's the first communication since I returned the application copy by post well over a week ago.

I got the text today to say my switch has completed, however, my old account is still open and has cash in it, my direct debits have disappeared from my old account and not transferred across to Ulster, my payees on my old account have transferred across to Ulster.   :smirk:

I'm not hugely impressed with them so far!

The Direct Debits not showing with Ulster/NatWest/RBS straight away is normal for them. They don’t show up in the app until the Direct Debit is first paid out.

Thanks. I have not come across this before with a switch.

Yes, I've received everything. Account details, debit card, PIN. Was just concerned that I may have to set up those direct debits again.

Well my switch to ulster completed yesterday, so now just have to wait and see if i get the £200.

i paid the £1250 before the switch completed, but now wondering if should've waited until after its completion.  has any one had the incentive from ulster yet and if so did you move the money in after or before switch completion?

It doesn't make any difference when you put the money in once it's within 60 days of the account being opened. They have 7 days to pay the £200, though most on here seem to get it a day or 2 after switching date.
