Ulster application

Hi @theonenoly ...
1. As you say the terms are quite clear ...not eligible ... but is it a criminal offence to apply? ... it's a matter for them.theonenonly said:Want to apply to Ulster for the switch bonus however I have several concerns
1. I've had a Natwest bonus last year. I know it says if you've had an RBS Group bonus before you're not eligible, but app I've seen on here some people have had the bonus pay out. Is this right?
2. I'm seeing loads of people having to fill in a physical form after waiting to receive it via post despite filling in an online application. I'm worried that by the time physical form is completed the deadline would've passed to be eligible for the bonus. I can't find an end date, so does that mean if I apply online today, but offer closes tomorrow, and I fill in the physical form after, am I still eligible?
2. In the post you get a form for you to sign, a confirmation of your application, together with a covering letter and a page of the details you supplied. You return the confirmation and the application details in the pre-paid envelope. There is no end date as yet but its your application date that matters (the online application), they make that clear. As long as you apply before any change to the offer you will get the incentive.

How long does it take for the online banking activation code to arrive in the post from account opening?

So I still haven’t received anything through the post. I have called them and woman I spoke to just said she can’t help and to ask Cora and if she couldn’t help to apply again.I called back again she said that she would look into it and call me back, in 15 mins, that was over 90 mins ago!Not great!0

... did you perhaps note down or screenprint the application reference at the end of the application, if you did you could try and contact NatWest Customer Services who control the application process for the Group.wizzywig27 said:

If that is a no go, see if you can apply again and take a screen print of the page with your reference.
You should be aware that it is a many stepped process with UB, taking about 4 weeks, but your potential incentive should be safe as long as you've applied online.0 -

You'll have to get through Cora first before you can speak to an agent via web chat. If you have your application reference, they should be able to at least confirm whether your online application was received (registered on their systems); that way you'll know whether you're waiting for nothing and should reapply. If your Equifax report shows a hard search from Ulster, that's also another indication your online application went through.wizzywig27 said:So I still haven’t received anything through the post. I honestly don’t recall getting a reference number, if I did then I would have screenshot it and I didn’t - it’s all very strange.0
