    Definitely not from your Natwest account, but if you have a non-Natwest Group current account to switch in to Ulster then every indication is that you will probably get the bonus (although you'd have no grounds for complaint if you didn't since the terms state you won't).

    I've got no accounts I want to switch from, so I opened a Monzo today. Can I switch it straight away, or do I  need to wait a few days / weeks. Cant really see any reason to but I am not sure

    Make sure it's active, pay in an odd amount (say £1.23) that'll be easy to spot in the new account when it get switched. 

    If you have the debit card number (in the app) then you are good to go but personally I'd give it 24 hours for decency's sake.

    Thanks, I will give it a few days, just conscious that the Santander offer did not last long!

    They want you to use their partner HooYu who ask for photo ID (passport or driving licence).

    without a debit card in your hand you cannot activate that card and you cannot see your card details inside the app without card being activated  - you need to wait for debit card to be delivered by post
  • I’ve just initiated a switch to RBS after benefitting from a Natwest switch incentive last year. Fingers crossed I get the incentive, and I do intend to keep the account for the foreseeable for the £3 a month and for the regular saver.
