So if I wanted 2x bonus you’re saying I should have applied at the same time? Noted if so and thank you.
If you haven’t received a switch incentive from NatWest group before 13th feb, I think the ts and cs are saying you should be fine to get all 3 now. I.e. if you did one on 15th for example, you could still do the others now
This would be incredible news! I started the switch process on 15th Feb and have never been part of the NatWest group. May as well give it a go and try with RBS then. Thank you so much!

Yes, my wording could have been better. It's not that the applications to RBS/NW/UB have to be simultaneous, it's that any application for a new account has to include the switch request at that time.

I’ve given it a go switching in a spare account - NatWest was the only remaining high street regular saver I needed to complete the set.

It's not about the wording of the ts and cs, it's that they don't check.

Got a text from Ulster saying my account is open. Is there any way to find account number and sort code or do I have to wait for post?

    So sorry for reasking .

So If the switch to natwest is after 15th feb ,? Doing a switch from another to RBS will still qualify? Does the switch to rbs need to be done before NatWest pays bonus?
  • Applications to any of NW/RBS/UB are completely independent of each other.
  • So i have applied for a rbs account, switch is in progress account number is reserved, but at the moment i cannot sign up for digital/mobile banking as rbs do not recognise my details when i try to register. i also do not have a unique number yet. i have recieved an email saying you have new mail login in to read it, guess i may just wait a bit longer.
anyone else sign up for rbs and had to wait for a unique number to login anywhere?

Is anyone else who applied to Ulster on the 15th Feb still waiting to hear about the switch date? Had my card pin and customer number arrive but I’ve not heard a word about the switch, not even from the bank I’m switching from
What a farce. Still hadn’t heard anything about the switch so today I contacted them to find out what was going on. They are claiming they have no record that I requested a switch. I absolutely 100% did. I entered the account details of the account I wanted to switch from as part of the application, so it’s concerning that they don’t have this switch request. Even the application form that was sent in the post said “Yes” to requesting a switch.
