Good to know, thanks. I think sometimes I still visualise an actual human on the other end, purse-lipped, tutting at me!changearound1 said:FirstCoffee said:Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere on the forum, but after transferring £1,250 into the account, how soon can it be transferred back out?
As soon as you like.

I applied for a NatWest Select account online yesterday evening switching a Santander donor account, seemingly successfully.
I took a screenshot of my account numbers and customer number. I expected to receive a Welcome e-mail within a couple of days. However this evening I received an e-mail inviting me to login to view a message about my account ending <nnn>.
I was unable to login or setup an online account because 'my details did not match'. I phoned Customer Services who said it was because I'd requested a switch and that the records showed the switch completed today 24/02/23. I should wait until my new account details had been registered which might take another day before I could create an online account and activate it.
Now the latter point fair enough it was what I expected, from the information I received when attempting to login, but as I said to the CSA my switch is completed? it should take at least 7 days?
I think things are OK I've not been rejected but I'm confused. I asked if this was normal to receive a mailbox message before I could even access it and was told no but it was because I had requested a switch with my application.
Does this make sense to anyone?0 -

There's a bookmarks tab at the top of the thread when you're logged in, you can see all your bookmarks there and uncheck the ones you don't want.
Or, there's a bookmark icon to the right of the individual thread title, if it's red you're subscribed. Click it to unsubscribe (it should change colour).0 -

re providing ID to Hooyu for RBS account - livescreen test passed but photo ID part failed. Tried with PDF documents of scanned photo ID but not accepted - saying not clear enough. Don't have a very fancy mobile to take photos and to send. Anyone any suggestions please?0

Well done James, you might be the first. Application on 14/02, switch on 23/02, timings all spot on.James240 said:£200 has been added to my account today, 4 days after switch was complete on 23rd. Had text message to advise money was added to account.1 -
I'm pleased that it has been pretty seamless and very little work for £200. Will endeavour to get the OH to sign up to this now I think

Is anyone else who applied to Ulster on the 15th Feb still waiting to hear about the switch date? Had my card pin and customer number arrive but I’ve not heard a word about the switch, not even from the bank I’m switching from0
