With RBS/Natwest/Ulster, DDs only show up after they have been taken.

Sort code and account number were shown at the end of my sign-up process, just before the HooYu photo ID step. Isn't the account number on your debit card? Pretty sure they usually are, but I've not received mine yet.

Only the 16 digit card number is shown and printed to the back of the card

If the same as Natwest you are allocated an account number and sort code as First Coffee says before the ID check but this assumes the ID check goes through ok, if not this screen disappears and you are left clueless. You can use 'chat' to them to get these details and then you can sign up to online banking and the app. Then low and behold you can check your mailbox and find a welcome message with your account details.

got my customer number and activation code from ulster now so have been able to log into internet banking and find out the account number and sort code (as not on Ulster's debit card) looks like  they have started the switch process in readiness for the switch on 1 March as can see their are now payees visible on online banking.  have sent £75 over of the £1250, so will send the rest over in the next few days.

Hi @anna42hmr many thanks for these updates.  I am about a week behind you so these are keeping me right!  I chanced it and tried both Ulster and Natwest, they seem to work differently.  Ulster sent a letter to sign and with Natwest, I had to take a selfie and upload passport.  I am hoping to bag 2 x £200.

Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere on the forum, but after transferring £1,250 into the account, how soon can it be transferred back out?
