  • Anyone received the incentive already? They say they pay within 7 days so technically the very early birds should have been paid already.
  • No account details from ulster yet to be able to pay in the £1250
  • Hi

I had the same experience so went in to chat and they gave me my account details so I could sign up to online banking. When I registered it gave me my customer number from last time I banked with them. This may explain why I wasn't given the option to register during the account application and the lack of a formal welcome email or letter. You choose 'Personal' and you will need your account number, sort code and debit card number.

    Cheers

My NatWest account was closed years ago, is there a certain time period they keep old details????

Assuming this won't affect my switch bonus, as I have had form of switching or deal with NatWest probably since 2001

Thanks for share , I get set up

I applied into a live RBS account as soon as the offer was announced, and the switch completed this morning so probably still a few days yet

Do you have to leave the £1250 in for a period of time or can you take it back out straight away?
  • I had a natwest switch offer before but will try ulster and see what happens!
  • My switch from First Direct to RBS happened today. Inititally both banking apps were showing a balance of 0.00. After a panicky trip to the cash machine the RBS account is now showing my balance. Does anyone one know when direct debits would appear? I can't see them listed on my account. Do they gradually show up as they are taken from the account or do these things usually have a natural delay on getting on the system?

They are normally shown before the switch is completed. I’m switching to TSB and the completion date is this Monday coming (27th) and the direct debits from my “old account” are already shown on my new TSB account.

I switched to RBS and it appears to be going OK. I have received my debit card and pin number and a text to say its all set up and I can log onto the app. I have not received an account number though. Maybe this was given to me when I applied, but if so I did not make a note of it. Should I expect a letter? I would have thought I would have received it before the debit card
