@ArbitraryRandom sorry if my last comment seemed rude. I think I had a bit of a brain fart. I hope your pattern does make sense for you and like I said in the post there are some amazing sewers on this thread who will no doubt help you out if needed.
@Florenceem the dolly with the little button nose looks so sweet.
@Katiehound good suggestions about the feet and leaving off the ears. and Oh dear. My sister tried to do the same to my cabbage patch doll when I was younger and cut the hair off it thinking it would grow back. I blame those barbies and my little ponies we had where the hair magically grew.
@greentiger love the cards specially the highland cows! and the turtle games are amazing. I wish I was able to crochet or knit. I have wool, needles and hooks but havent gotten around to attempting again yet!

@sammy_kaye18 not at all. And I'm sure it WILL make sense as soon as I get to it.
I've found some old summer weight curtains (from the conservatory of a previous house) that I think are mostly cotton and look the part. I'm now debating if I cut out one arm and try and put it together, or if I just go for it and cut out everything at once.
I hate starting something new for the first time. I always find something else to do. My house is getting a good tidy today6 -
@ArbitraryRandom I'm the same. I tend to bounce from project to project so I always have plenty of things going but nothing seeming to make progress.
I am trying to tidy downstairs today so that hopefully once the kids are back in school/work next week then Ill be able to enjoy the sunshine and get some bits in the garden done. Or sit outside in the sunshine and craft a bit.Newly diagnosed Type 2 diabetic - 3/2/23HB1AC 69 - 13/2/23 ____ HBA1C 46 - 4/04/2023Battling depression, diabetes, PCOS and severe social anxiety5 -
Florenceem, I've just seen the photos of the rag dolls you made, they are lovely.
It's great to use up materials that you already have as well.5 -

If anyone lives near Glasgow, the Lodging House Mission are looking for people to make single bed patchwork blankets - knitted, crocheted or quilted- for an exhibition and then to be sold to raise funds for their work. Blankets have to be with them by 1 December. Once my friend sends me the official poster I will pop it on2023 Frugal Living Challenge
