Anyone who uses Starmist yarn it seems to be cheap(er/est) from Fabric Giant. Retailing there @ £2.12 per ball. £3 from Bombay Stores, slightly more elsewhere.
Sadly not all the colours I want..... I have an order for 24 angels & use this yarn as edging on 'body' and for head/halo. It replaces goldfingering or Lincatex.
So spent money yesterday for Starmist & some seasonal fabrics. Intend to make pyramid poo/treat bags & hopefully some seasonal owls.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Many thanks

I've been reading along but not had much time to post. I always enjoy looking at all the lovely photos of what people have made.
Here's our latest make. We wanted a cat tower and a bed for an older cat we are taking on who has been in a pet rescue a couple of weeks so she may want a bit more time to get used to us and the house. Everything in pet stores was a bit dear and not quite right for one reason or another. So we found this rather beat up pine tv cabinet/unit thing in a charity shop (dunno why it looks a bit purplei n photo, just a run of the mill pine irl). Some stuff we had lying about, some hemp rope in case she likes scratching, 3 old cushions re covered with material from my stash into comfy beds (the drawer has a cushionbed in it), a wee curtain from same plus a bit of dowel that will do double duty when I briefly need it for another task from time to time. Bonus is the hidey hole bed space in case she wants to hide rather than go up high

I have selected my next old project to finish. I think this one might be 40 years old!! Not very much to do, rows of satin stitch hearts. I am not that keen on it, and will not be paying to get it framed - I might mount it on foam board, then donate to a charity shop. I have done too much to just bin it.2023 craft items finished 4 big, 7 quick craft spend £75.1212
