WIP means work in progress, so something being worked on, but not yet finished - so four dolls being made but not finished.Statement of Affairs (SOA) link: https://www.lemonfool.co.uk/financecalculators/soa.phpFor free, non-judgemental debt advice, try: Stepchange or National Debtline. Ah, thank you - so obvious when you knowI'm not an early bird or a night owl; I’m some form of permanently exhausted pigeon.4

Hi, here is one of my wips - I've finished piecing together the top of this quilt today but it is now being put away till October. I only had to buy the fabric for the border and bindings as the rest of the fabric came from my stash. I have a quilt to make for a wedding present in October and a cushion to sew for a wedding in September. I also have to sew 4 bags for flower girls for the October wedding and I have a 2 week holiday before then. So I'll be really busy - this is the way I like it 😍

plumduff55 said:I used a really good tutorial on youtube by the Crafty Gemini called " How to sew a scrappy zipper pouch". It's one of best tutorials I've seen with very simple and easy instructions. I think this is my 4th bag from this pattern and it's simple to make different sizes xx
I don't have all the patchwork cutting gear....... which explains why my stuff isn't absolutely accurate. Dogs don't seem worry about accurate doggy duvets!!!!!
I also saw the triangular (tetrapak) bag which I find intriguing... itching to try but there's another tutorial where you line it as well......would look great in seasonal fabrics! tree decorations? or a larger size as a crochet bag?
look at this one:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0JuJrLA_VY
I'm still waiting to find new eyes for the large owl but at least I have finished a knee blanket.....

Hi @Katiehound I made 2 of these bags last year for my grandsons using YT Debbie Shore " How to sew a pyramid pouch". It was a straightforward pattern of a bit fiddly. Pic below shows these bags in camouflage fabric for the boys.Debt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order

plumduff55 - great makes. I have never made a patchwork quilt.
Finished a doll - named her Hattie. She has shorts rather than bloomers.
