PS Love all the cards and the crochet jumper and gloves are great. So far I've just done crochet square. I might try something more adventurous once I'm a bit better.
Happy crafting xx

plumduff - great work on the waistcoat - is that basket stitch?
I had my first craft spend of 2023 today - bought felt in 3 colours for Easter makes.
I made a Birthday card using a recycled design.

Love the card @Florenceem
With the wool that I bought at haberdashery sale on Saturday, I made this little jacket. It only used 100g apart from the collar and edging. I used buttons from my button tin. Very pleased with it for £1.00.

@Soontobeoap I love that cardigan! It's so sweet, and the wool is lovely.
I have finished off little one's world book day outfit- not counting as makes for my total because I had to buy material to get the right shades. He is going as Barker from Salty Dogs. Second pic shows the dog pirates

Making it did remind me that I really like the shirt pattern, and I bought fabric to make him more shirts with some time ago, so I'd best get making! (After I finish my blouse)Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

@Emsi_b you are so clever. I would count it as I bet you used threads and other bits that you already had. I am counting the little cardi because I used buttons from my button tin.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £35.96 spent, 144 made and 5 mended,

Great book outfit. I wasn't asked to make anything this year for Dgc.

Good morning, I'm up early this morning as today is craft day and I'm so excited. I have a small shopping list, mainly wool for knitting presents and some buttons. Although knowing me I will probably be tempted into buying other things but absolutely NO WOOL 😳.
@Florenceem - yes it's a variation of basket stitch. Each alternate row is all purl or knit without the basket. I think this sits better. Another lovely card ❤️.
@emsi_b Very special top for your wee one. Much nicer and more personal.
@Soontobeoap That is a beautiful baby cardigan. I'd love to be able to follow a crochet pattern. The wool is really nice as well. What is it called?
I will need to get moving now and make my packed lunch. It takes nearly 2 hours to get there. I'm meeting my friend in a nearby town and getting the train through. We always have a lovely dayDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order

I finished the fingerless gloves last night. This is my first gift made to put by for Xmas. They just used 30g of dark dk wool and a scrap of pink. My next pair might be the pink with green border at the top. I'll see
