Not much crafting happening here. It has been fairly dry, so we have been revamping part of the vegetable garden, with gravel paths and some more raised beds - trying to make it easier to maintain, but it is tiring doing it, and then I don't feel like crafting!
Well done on your makes and progress everyone
@sammy_kaye18 so glad you have finished your Robins in time, they are so beautiful . I hope you can find that old tiger cub cross stitch to finish
@ziggy2407 such a pretty wreath
@plumduff55 you must be so pleased to have almost finished your waistcoat. I am looking forward to seeing photos of it finished.
@x_raphael_xx the cross stitch picture is definately growing!
@Wraithlady lovely bag, I hadn't heard of boro bags before.

Spent £8.50 today at a habersdashery sale for charity. I know, I know, I am in the middle of a clear out but I am going to make a quilt for GD and she loves orange so I really needed the one and a half metres of fabric for £2.00. I am not keen on orange myself but this is very pretty. Also bought some pink ribbon, a crochet hook, a crochet pattern book, some felt, blue bias binding, some red and green felt for christmas and 200g of baby acrylic yarn. How could I resist?craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £35.96 spent, 144 made and 5 mended,

Hi, @sammy_kaye18 your cross stitch is absolutely beautiful. You should be so pleased with yourself.
Well, dental appointment on Monday was ok but suffered from painful nerve pain for a couple of days. I've never had that before but thankfully it's settled down now.
Re the waistcoat - I left the button bands till today as I knew it would be an awful job. I had to calculate how many stitches to pick up for the garter stitch band. Had to rip it back twice as I had too many stitches. Third time lucky so I'm hoping to finish the other band this evening then there's the wonderful job of sewing it up 🥴.
This week I've knitted one fingerless glove to put by for Christmas. I copied a picture I saw online and it's looking really good. Pics to follow soon.

Things are taking shape

This is 20 hours work so far...I am not fast. I've also exhausted the Hobbit & LOTR trilogys. Any recommendations for something to binge watch while I'm 'working'

Thank you - yes the bunting is just a piece of string and then made the bunting from an amazon paper bag cut to shape and then added letters from stashSoontobeoap said:What a lovely gift @sammy_kaye18. Your mil is very honoured. Well worth all of the time that you have spent on it.

Raphael, have you thought about binge watching a series? We have been watching all the star wars spin off series, plenty to get through there!
I have half made a card but gave up fighting with some twine to make it a bit prettier. I will try again another day- just eating a delicious breakfast at a hotel after a weekend away for my anniversary!
