2023 - No Craft Spending - I WILL bust my stash and make pretty things!!!!!

I have had one virus after another since mid January and now have an infection on my lungs. Have been very tired so not much time for crafting.
I cannot believe that I am still making Christmas cards but it is what it is!
2 more diamond painting cards done over the last couple of days.
I donated a load of embroidery threads to a friend today as well. She has been embroidering a tablecloth off and on for the last 62 years and is suddenly inspired to get it finished. 😂
I wonder if that is the longest craft project in history. Some of mine go back 3 or 4 years!
Love the tablet case @oldfogy I wouldnt know where to start. You are very talentedcraft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

@Florenceem love the cards! They look so professional!
@old_fogey well done with your case. I love the stitch and well done on your lidl purchase. I love when you find good quality card for a good price. May have to talk nicely to husband and go over there.
@emsi_b look forward to seeing your little christmas cross stitch.
@Soontobeoap I hope you are feeling better. I think its just that time of year as I have a lot of friends who just seem to be picking things up at the minute from chest infections to scarlet fever and even norovirus. From previous experience I am trying to avoid the last two and my SIL has just had Covid for the second time! I love the cards. Can I ask if they are brought as a pack or have you done them yourself over premade cards? I finished 4 of my cross stitch cards at Christmas and then completely forgot to actually card them up and give them as cards/gifts so I already have 4 ready to go this year!
Not much crafting done here at the minute.
I did have a play around with my pyrography set and made two things that Im not sure what to do with - well one will get put up for coats to hang on in our very small hallway but the other was just me testing out another nib so Im not sure where or what Ill end up doing with it. Picture of the hooks, not bad for a first attempt.
Also managed to put up the window film on the landing window and it was really pretty yesterday with sun shining through it as it looks like stained glass.
did try out some water colours to try and make some cards but it didn't quite go as planned. I do think I need to find a white pen though and maybe drawing round some shapes might make it look better.
Need to make 3 mothers day cards too and then have 2 birthday cards to make so I will be on card making duty for a while at the minute to get it done.
Shoulder is alright now thankfully and I do really need to find something to do in the evening to keep my brain entertained and stop me eating.Time to find me again8 -
@sammy_kaye18 love your coat hooks. Thats another craft that I havnt tried. So much more to learn.
The cards are bought ones. A cheap pack, roughly £10.00 for 5. You can buy some absolutely beautiful ones but they cost about £5.00 each. If I dont like the inside of the card I just mount the picture on a blank card to make them look classier.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Hi, lots of beautiful crafting been happening. The cards are so special and the tapestry tablet case is gorgeous - so unusual.
Ive been having the hall and stairs decorated this week so not much crafting been going on here although I have been getting some knitting done in the evenings. I've nearly finished the v neck jumper for dgs3.DS is getting married in October and his wife to be has asked me to sew 50 metres of double sided bunting. I shall be starting that soon as I will take it slowly and pace myself otherwise it's the type of job that would drive me doolally 🤪.
Happy crafting xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

11 years, ago I made bunting for my daughters wedding. Such an honour. But after making 50 metres in shades of pink and burgundy my hands were sore, I had got through several sewing machine needles numerous reels of thread and was sick of the sight of the colour. It turned out beautiful and she has always been very grateful for the effort it entailed. 😂. Hope it goes well for you @plumduff55craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,
