@Soontobeoap - love the hat and the little dress. It is so pretty and looks like a little dress and cardy! i am sure it will be much appreciated.
@plumduff55 - hope your teeth are ok now. Mine have gone really sensitive lately and not much fun.
@vulpix - love the reindeer and sorry to hear about your MIL.
You are down in my neck of the woods, I am only in Port Talbot. :-)
I hope you are enjoying your little getaway and enjoy the exhibition. Is that the power of pattern one?
Im having one of those days today. Everything seems to be going wrong. Doctors have messed up my meds so I have run out of my diabetic medication so Im hoping they will rush it through for me and I can get it tomorrow despite ordering it over 10 days ago! Sister and Cousin have a hate/hate relationship and have been in a verbal shouting match all day, niece has tested positive for covid, husband just seems to think its funny to bait me when Im in a bad mood and my son just rang from work and hes coughing up a lung so guess who else is being covid tested later! Doh! Oh and I also managed to mess up a party arrangement by requesting a menu and putting the wrong number of people in the email so they then amended it and text my step mum and freaked her out - I am on a roll today!
Thankfully I thnk my son has posted my step mums birthday/mothers day gift now though so thats one thing. Just have my actual mums to post now so I sat and made cards last night.
The card with butterflies is for my MIL and I made a similar one with pink cutaway writing and blue butterflies for my step mum.
The tiger print card is hand coloured, with cutaway writing and is for my actual mother. I brought her a tiger head mug too and have put in a little pack of hand creams and some herb/flower seeds too since she is on about sorting her garden out.
Also quite happy too in a way because my MIL rang this morning to say she had to go to her caravan as there had been some storm damage and she had sadly lost a gnome - I think I have some kind of weird intuition though as I have brought her this little beauty as her mothers day gift!
Meet Gardening Grandma!
Its an ongoing joke now that we always stop into her house for a cup of tea and she serves my kids the biscuit barrel! So I figured it was fitting that she is called gardening grandma and has a little tray of tea and biscuits (anyone who likes the look of her - £7 in Asda and they had a variety there too) MIL is after a giant gnome but I still cant find one for her!Time to find me again6 -
Everyone has been so busy and very inspiring. I've loved getting caught up. I ended up with my second bout of tonsillitis this winter!
I have managed a wee bit of repurposing some lap blankets and a hat.
I have been a little naughty. I was working at the local agricultural mart the other day and they have market stalls around the back. One of the guys sells all sorts of things. Basically he buys a pallet of mystery stuff and then flogs it. The pallet he got this time had some diamond dot/ crystal art stuff. I couldn't believe my luck he was selling the kits at £2 for a big picture or £1 for a pack of 4 keyring. I really can't be blamed😆 I did also tell him he was selling them too cheaply. He didn't seem worried though as he hadn't realised that this was a "thing"

Hello @RavenRover hope your feeling better and your tonsillitis has passed. Well done on your bargain find too. Least you have something to keep you busy now too.
Not much crafting will be underway today as son came home last night, he had rung me earlier in the day to say he was coughing a lot in work so he was going next door to boots to get some cough medicine, so when he got home I tested him. Half hour later he has a very faint second line so I suspect he is just getting past a dose of Covid without even really knowing he had it. He's been in college, at his girlfriends, out mountain biking and work! He did inform work straight away and they have given him today off and he was off Saturday anyway but I honestly suspect that if he has a test today it will probably show negative because it was so light. Either way he will probably be bored and under my feet all day.Time to find me again7 -
@sammy_kaye18, or it might be just starting, probably worth another test either today or tomorrow.
Take care everyone6 -
I think a lot of people are having Covid without knowing.
The bunnies have been breeding - 23 of them - ran out of chocolate oranges now.

@Florenceem those bunnies are fabulous. Well done on completing so many.
@plumduff55 the jumper for dgs is lovely, you are such a neat knitter. Sorry about the tooth. I had one out last year, not fun at all.
@RavenRover what a bargain they are! Sorry about the tonsillitis.
@Soontobeoap that dress is so pretty, there will be a very happy little girl wearing it.
@vulpix sorry about MIL. I am pleased you mentioned your UFO of 38 years, it makes me feel more normal. I do have a paper pieced patchwork as a UFO, I don't think I will get round to it this year though.
@sammy_kaye18 they are lovely cards. Sorry you had a rubbish day, I hope you manage to stay clear of covid.
My curtains are progressing well. I didn't do any today as the weather was unexpectedly mild, so did outdoor things. We are due for heavy rain mon/tue, so I should get them finished then.
