Stash buster, he is sooo cute.
Soontobeoap.yes I have done beadwork. I was given a huge bag of beads and have made a lot of Christmas decorations for fundraisers. I am not sure if I still have any pics on my phone. You need a long needle,the thinnest you can find. Tip the beads into a jar lid or something to make them easier to pick up. I have found some unopened beads at my MIL's house,I could post them to you if you like.
I must say,I have been sooooo good with clearing the house. All I am bringing home craft wise is an old darning mushroom and a tape in the shape of a panda. Oh and some bead head pins. I am not bringing all the new threads and new ribbons, I already have a stash of ribbon that I never use! Obviously MIL enjoyed the buying rather than the using of supplies.

Hi, I've found a huge 200g ball of Jarol dk yarn that will be enough for dgd's Easter gift. I have to say it's not my favourite wool but I will be using up my stash. I think that's why it was hidden at the back of the drawer 🤣.
@Stashbuster I ❤️ your memory bear

@Stashbuster. Memory bear is such a good idea.
@vulpix I cannot believe how disciplined you are being about your MIL craft stuff. Thank you so much for the offer of beads. I already have loads that my daughter gave me in a pack of jewlery making stuff years ago. I have just seen these special needles with handles online. It seems to be some sort of french embroidery and looks very pretty. I fancied doing a bit on a teashirt or tunic top and dont really know where to start.
@plumduff55 I like the wool you have found. I think that it will be a very pretty cardigan/jumper.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

stashbuster - love the bear.
vulpix - I wouldn't be able to say no to the ribbons.
plumduff55 - that yarn is pretty.
Spent £6.50 today - bought a 1 metre remnant of cotton curtain lining for £1 and 1/2 metre of cream satin fabric + 1 metre of cream cheesecloth/muslin. I want it for making flowers.
I have started to make packs of chocolate for my 6 local Dgc - nearly 200g weight - better than a thin Easter egg and they will get lots of them anyway. I bought the wrong number of selection packs at Christmas and have tubs of chocs so used some of those.

Bought a couple of bits today but they’re very boring and much needed - a metre of vilene iron on adhesive because I’m down to my last smidgeon and have plans to use it.I’ve been wanting to try adding some embroidery to some textile makes too so finally remembered to buy some wash away stabliser
too.
Two friends are expecting little girls so I will be using some of my fabric stash to make clothes.
I really ought to master sewing items for boys (seeing as I have one!) but I definitely find girls clothing easier!Chipping away at the craft stash one item at a time

plumduff55 - it takes a while to glue dot each sweet onto the backing card.
I just ordered some glue dots from Ali.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Ooo @Florenceem they look tasty - not sure what left over chocolate is, it doesn’t exist in this house 🤣🤣🤣
I put the finishing touches to six tiny skirts last night and gave them a quick rinse in the washing machine this evening while DSs shirts had a dip.

Lovely makes as usual. left over chocolate isn't a thing in our house either.
I'm not restrained with MIL's craft stuff, I am just decluttered out. I brought it all home tonight and sorted it,tidied it and put it all in a big craft box for the charity shop. It will be an absolute bargain for some one. I saved a couple of old wooden bobbins and the tiny beads. I also saved a tape measure which is much clearer than the ones I have.All I have to do now is some actual crafting!
