Another day of no crafting for me. Saw that there was a £5 Hobbycraf. coupon available so went there. Got some reduced Christmas craft activities for Dgc and some felt for bunnies. Only spent £2 with the coupon - £1 for Christmas presents and £1 for craft spending.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Hi, no crafting here either as I have 3 of my grandchildren staying with me this weekend. I'm spending my time cooking and chasing after the 7 year old who's a right wee terror. It's a lovely morning here so I think we'll go for a walk to the local play park and they can run off all their excess energy.Happy crafting xx

I made 4 cards this weekend, so now up to 37/200. I did a craft fair today- they aren't exactly bringing in the money, although I did sell 8 cards and a notebook, so some more bits out of the house!Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

Well done on your sales @emsi_b
@x_raphael_xx loving the fox!
Not much crafting here to be honest. I have trapped a nerve in my collarbone and its making it rather uncomfortable to sit in certain positions. I had a go with the pyrography set that husband brought me for Christmas and made a coat hanger but I haven't put it up yet but I will take pictures tomorrow to show you all. Also messed about with another attachment which is more a sketching tool on a smaller piece of wood and just faffed about a bit.
I do need to make a card tomorrow so I can send my step mums birthday present. Her birthday was last week but she was away so it is a few days late being posted but she expected it so thats alright. I just cant seem to find the enthusiasm to do it.
I also brought some window cling today to do our hallway window with and it turned up about 3pm so that will be my job for tomorrow and moving the shoe rack I expect.
Time to find me again7 -
sammy_kaye18 - ouch - hope you are pain free quickly.
I needed 3 Birthday cards so recycled card fronts - I have a large stash of card blanks & envelopes.

Great makes everyone ! I have enjoyed watching your progress.
The weather has turned cold, so back to crafting. I have finished my tablet case. I am quite pleased with it. There is still a lot of inherited tapestry wool left in my stash though. If doing another I might try plastic canvas, as it was a bit of a worry it would fray when sewing it together, but I wanted to use canvas from my stash.
I have started making curtains for the bedroom. I have had the material well over a year!!!
I have to confess to a craft purchase - the coloured card was in stock at Lidl, I only bought one pack, 1.99. I do have some card left from previous years, but it is such good card it was worth topping up.

Lovely tablet case! I agree with you about the lidl card, it really is good. Thankfully I haven't been to lidl and don't have plans to this week, so I should be safe from temptation!!
I have started a little Christmas cross stitch card, and realised I must have gone wrong on another (or inherited it part made), so need to dig some spare cream thread out of the box of embroidery threads I was given... I've never used any of the box, so it would be a good exercise to review what is in it, what I might use and rehome the rest!! The little bear the cream is for is very sweet, so I will keep any colours of cross stitched cards I might remake, and get rid of the rest.Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

This week we started major alternations to my wedding dress
including making a new skirt to sit on top of the dress for the ceremony before I have a "making my mind up" moment 😂 (if anyone knows what I mean...)
So far everything is partially done but I have manged to complete my veil just in time for my makeup trial
My life seems to be consumed with making stuff for the wedding or talking about the wedding or thinking about the wedding... business/freelance writing/fun stuff seems to of somewhat gone at the window right now 😂9 -
@Cupcakecraftscuddlycanine that does sound like a pretty scary project. Very glad that your plans are all still going well. Cant wait until we get some Official crafty snaps from the day.
