I would also make a plea for the bootees pattern too- thinking a baby born 6 weeks ago would like some!!Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

plumduff55 said:@sammy_kaye18 I've collected the Christmas fabrics over years and mostly bought as fat quarters. I've no nice fabric shops local to me so buy on my twice yearly visits to the Creative Craft Exhibition in Glasgow. I also buy fabric from eBay - I just search for cotton fat quarter bundles Christmas. When I'm busy in my sewing room I'm always listening or watching serial killer and sci fi audiobooks and films. Seems crazy creating lovely things while listening to horrific murder scenes 😳.
@Katiehound Sewing bags is a great way to use up your fabric. I'm fascinated by your crochet work underneath the bag. Is it just a long row of chain stitches. I'm really enjoying doing my little bit of crochet each day. My January square will be finished today.
@Stashbuster Your dress is lovely. Makes me think I need to start busting my dressmaking fabrics.
Happy crafting xx
I love the cot blanket too - the colours are beautiful - as well as the bootees - and who doesn't love Dumbo! Although I watched it recently with the kids -I cried at the song and the psychedelic elephants freaked me out!
No crafting really done here as I have been in the garden today since its been dry - I have procrastinated a bit too much about getting things done so I have had a very busy day out there whilst my son and daughter was off school and they could watch the dogs. I did try having them in the garden with me but when you are using a recip saw and your bouncy puppy who's 8 months and the size of a small great dane keeps bouncing into you - I feared for my fingers.
I need to chill out tonight though so I will do some more of my robin because I want to chill before a big tonne bag of limestone gravel needs humping around the house tomorrow.
Time to find me again5 -

I think I see what happens. I assume there is a seam at the back?
How much yarn are you using to make the twisted cord please?
Might have to knit one to check but I just have a pair of mittens started... must do them first!Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
