It took about 6 hours to design and stick all the bits on and then another 2 1/2 hours to grout and clean.
In the back garden we have a flower bed along the back of the lawn and nothing ever grows on the end at the left hand side so I have just put it in there so I can see it from the kitchen window4 -
OK, take 3 with photo (noticed my name and address were on tickets in the corner
) so another attempt

Its amazing what a practised person can do with simple running stitch. I was quite inspired

I used to be scared of spiders too, but I got bored during lockdown and started getting into exotics through watching vids on youtube. The more you watch and learn, the less scarier they are. They are kinda facinating to watch. I have one called Autumn and I popped a few fake acorns in her enclosure for decoration. She loves rolling them up and down. Some of them are so gorgeous. For those that are brave enough here are a few of my prettiest: (I hope the spoiler tags work!)

Sorry to say I had to scurry past the tarantula post.Edited to keep on topic!: 1 Hour of the cross stitch done last night) and Spderbytes doesn't look as bright blue as some photos in tinterweb but im sure is just as beautiful to you. I'm not sure they would be my first choice of pet (probably fairly far down the list to be absolutely honest) but they are amazing creatures for sure, thanks for sharing

I've made 5 cards and part made 3 today, so I'm now up to 21/100. Even more productively, I put the kallax unit up, fitted the cupboard inserts and filled it all up! I actually managed to condense a few things and have tidied some more room in the cupboard, winner.

@daisy_1571thank you so much for thinking of me. I am still very lack lustre. No energy and your post has cheered me up. This course looks amazing. If I lived in the North I would be booked on. Such a good price too. All courses in the South seem to be so expensive. I am going to have a look on youtube. You have inspired me too. My machine is an old BROTHER machine. Last week when i was sorting out photos I found the log book so there maybe something in there that will help me. Did you use, a special foot? The sewing machine i had before that was a manual singer. I think it was "FRISTER and ROSSMAN"? So pretty but made everything so slow when you had to turn the handle. When I was a child DM had a beautiful treadle machine. I was too small to reach the treadle but can remember being very cross when she sold it for £5.00 to buy my sister a new electric one. 🤣. Now that I know it is possibke on my machine I cant wait to give it a go. Thanks again for thinking of me.
Same thing happened for me in spider posts. They work on daisys post but not the first one. It is odd.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

@sammykaye & @x_raphael_xx what naughty pooches!
I can't say anything as my dog aka the Prince of Darkness loves destroying soft things like my embroidered cushions, pillows or anything else that I value! Even at 7 he still has his moments!!!😂😂
Not much done on my elephant this week, work has got in the road!

@emsi_b those cards are gorgeous. Have you done the flowers with watercolours?
@Tiggermad that mosaic will look wonderful in the garden.
@plumduff55 great pouch, so useful. (Given me more ideas!) My tablet case is tapestry wool on canvas, but straight stitches over 4 holes, rather than tent stitch which is over one hole diagonally. So grows quickly.
@Cupcakecraftscuddlycanine the flowers from cards are so unusual, stunning.2025 craft items finished 11/12
