More bags cut out- hopefully attacking the last curtain today but the sardine flapjack called! Treat tin nearly empty & solar panels working so cooking them for free. In case you ask: hound treats!
The item behind the bag is a knee blanket ( to go with the shoe boxes) It's approx 1 m x 1 m.
I work it in treble Vs
I'll look closely at it because I know what I typed (and deleted!) was wrong ! Used up all kind of DK oddments with blocks of a boring unpicked jumper in between
Edging is just a row or two of dc
If I was making something for me I would do claw stitch edging- which is simply a reverse dc. Directions below- gives a 'rope' edgehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7XOkueIkNM

Loving this thread. I am getting lots of ideas and inspiration -
@daisy_1571 and @plumduff55 those Christmas runners are fabulous. I have a lot of bits of Christmas fabric, maybe I could do something similar and make a Xmas tree skirt.
@Katiehound super bag. I never thought of bags!! I will do some later2025 craft items finished 11/12

I am using the Morsbag dimensions for these bags, after that it's dictated by the fabric
This shows you the dimensions & how to make a basic bag (except I always turn the top edge over the side seams- not what is shown here)- not trying to to teach anyone to suck eggs, but this is a useful video.

With one top finished I’ve found I’ve no grey thread to hem the other. I’m resisting the urge to run to the sewing shop tomorrow - I know they are having a sale at the weekend so I will go and stock up on the basics then and hopefully save a little bit of money.

Hi, I finished the baby quilt yesterday - the same day a wee baby girl was born 🤩. That was great timing. I was under strict orders to only make gender neutral things so here's my selection. Very dark colours I know but the parents like grey and black 😱. I might knit up a girlie bonnet quickly - as the gift won't be collected till the weekend.Happy crafting xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order
