I did manage to get 80 candles on! My nan's face was a picture, which was entirely the point
I've had a go at making some bigger origami boxes out of 12" x 12" paper, which look great. I have some sweets left over from filling the favour boxes, so I might use them and wrap them with some cellophane I found in the cupboard.
Auti, the little toadstool bag is so cute!

Hi Guys, I’m back again!
@Pink12345, lovely makes, specially that wreath! Is there a pattern for that somewhere. I found my pack of insulbrite (I had used some to make an oven glove for my grandchildren to use many moons ago) and I used the rest when I was covering a wee folding table to make a handy ironing station.
That green quilt is so Spring -y. Beautiful. Well done, @soontobeoap. The one with the big yellow daisies reminds me of Summer. Are you working through the seasons, lol?
Aw, @plumduff 55, you did it again – that wee stripy cardi is gorgeous! And a beautiful quilt. I have a machine with a wider throat than usual, but the biggest thing I’ve quilted was a single bed size! I am in awe of you! I’ve been contemplating QAYG too. The kisses bags are fab.
@emsi_b, pretty treat boxes; I like the closure idea. I love your very special 80 card.
@suzeesu2000, my goodness you have been busy! Well done.Lovely Christmas cards @daisy_1571. Your mum’s painted pics are super. I like the Christmas bells too.
@Auti, that is a really cute wee bag. It is going to be loved very much.
Well buying the wool pack has got my mojo going. However. I’m not getting on as well as I had hoped but that’s my own fault because I decided I could not wait a minute longer to switch the room I have for my craft room with my spare room. In mid November. So far I’ve emptied some crafting stuff from their cupboards so I can move them (with help from DH) and I’ve emptied some of the stuff from the cupboards in the spare room. So far out of the spare room have come a wardrobe, 2 chests of drawers and a Sindy house. We also moved the sofa bed to a different part of the room. From the craft room we’ve moved a wardrobe, a table, a small cupboard, a set of plastic drawers, a spinny chair, a floor lamp, some equipment - 2 big cupboards stacked on top of each other await, but they need to be emptied. More furniture needs to come out of the spare room too. Both rooms are in chaos right now, with the contents of cupboards everywhere. We need to keep moving the same stuff around as we make space. We could have put things in our bedroom but I refuse to mess up another room! Akira, our cat, is VERY confused. We have managed to declutter some things, so that’s good!
So November’s makes were
· a bag to hold my granddaughter’s 12th birthday gifts, made from a panel that came with a pack of fabric I bought to make a baby quilt 7 or 8 years ago
· a birthday card for same granddaughter (the one with 3 goal pictures as she had just scored 3 goals for her team) and 2 spares
· 3 parts of the crochet along blanket that’s getting my mojo going!
In December I hope to
· Finish the crochet along (3 more parts. I think, one of them almost finished)
· Christmas gift bags – I’ll have to hurry up with my switcheroo or at least clear a wee workspace because I will NOT bring things downstairs and spoil the Christmas decoration effect (which I’ve not started yet – more stuff to bring out of the loft and add to the chaos!
· Not likely to manage – some crochet scarves.

I have 6 origami big boxes to report (i've put mini candy canes in 2 and wrapped with cellophane for the weekends fairs).
I also finished the waistcoat for the shepherds outfit- just the tunic, headdress and belt to do! All cut out ready to go.

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments
@Soontobeoap I love the combination of fabrics in the floral quilt. The black really makes the other colours pop. The pink quilt is equally as nice.
@plumduff55. The cardigan for your dgd is so adorable. The quilt for your dil is fantastic, I admire your patience in machine quilting it, as its so large and unyielding, it had to be very difficult to do, particularly on a manual machine. Bags are a lovely gift, very suitable for teenagers, as its all about the makeup.
@emsi_b Love the origami favour boxes, so simple but effective, I am sure you will sell them all at your craft fairs. Love the 80-birthday card.
@Florenceem, hope you are feeling better and ready to craft again.
@daisy_1571 Cards are lovely, your mum is quite the artist. I really like the Christmas bell. Do you have a pattern for it? As I have loads of Christmas fabric and a bag full of small pieces of batting that I could use up.
@Auti The little toadstool bag is so cute.
@greentiger I sent you a pm with instructions for wreath. I recently sorted out my room that I use to store my crafting materials and I can understand the chaos you are going through, but you will be delighted when everything is in its place. All your makes are lovely.
I haven’t done a lot of crafting as my back was playing up. Bending over a table to cut fabric, was not doing it any good. So, my DH and DS drove 80 miles return and bought me a second-hand metal framed table with a wooden top, the table top was too high for me to use comfortably, so my good friend’s husband, shortened the legs for me. It’s at a perfect height now.
I have made another set of cutlery holders, a red fabric wreath, a Christmas stocking for my DS and several drawstring bags in various sizes to suit gifts for the family. Just one more to make. Later today I am going to experiment, making a couple of holders for Christmas gift cards. In MSE terms I have sewn together lots and lots of bits of batting, bit like a giant jigsaw puzzle, enjoyable as its very forgiving. I hope to use these pieces when I start making a quilt as you go, quilt, in the New Year.
