2023 - No Craft Spending - I WILL bust my stash and make pretty things!!!!!

I was so busy making things, I forgot to post here!! Blanket for sitting room sofa is finished. I knitted rectangles making a different pattern on each on - only plain and pearl stitches though. Sewed all together so that no pattern touched another the same. Crocheted all round and am so pleased with it.
crocheted a waistcoat/sleeveless cardigan in chunky. Again really pleased with it. Has been handy the last few very chilly days.
crocheted another blanket for bed too - it’s only DK but surprisingly warm.
Made five pot holders for the kitchen from left over squares too and used old stained tea towels for the filling- just folded several times and works a treat….frugal too.
Made a patchwork skirt too. Used squares of red/whits with different patterns, elasticated waist. Used an old unwearable skirt as a pattern. Finished this evening.
using my stash and trying to remain frugal, I have made a patchwork in shades of taupe/beige/fawns/browns to match bedroom. I have a lovely comforter that is ages old but still very serviceable. It’s just the wrong colour, black and white.
Idea is to recover the comforter so I can continue to use it and, if I ever get fed up of the colour, I can unpick and recover again.
Next plan is to find a pattern for a pinafore dress for me. I looked for one earlier and nearly fainted at the price: £17.50!!! Sorry but I refuse to pay they price. Think I may try to make my own pattern…wish me luck!
Big job this weekend is to get my sewing machine working. The tension has gone all haywire. I am certainly no expert on a machine but it will come in jolly handy, especially for comforter if I can get it working.
Hope everyone is doing well and, maybe, even finding the bottom of the pile!!Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Another 2 cards made, so up to 184/200. One was this absolute beast- 4 sheets of a4 and lots of scraps! I had to bind it in the end as it kept falling apart.

@suzeesu2000 there's also a Waves and wild pattern for a pinafore- not sure what it's called, but I love their patterns. They're not as cheap as a second hand one, but the instructions are incredible (I've basically used the instructions as a substitute for sewing classes because she explains everything so clearly!)Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

finally got round to using some of my card making stuff. I've made three, adapted a shop bought card and my mum is with me this week and is painting some cards. Heres mine - simple aperture cards, background paper stuck inside. One has 2 simple peel offs. The other 2 are just a bit gold card and a bit red card to represent a Xmas tree and its pot.

Made this for a child for birthday (in a few days). Put a purse with a cat charm (and money) plus a small notebook and pen inside. Picture of inside was just before I stitched the lining in
. Do quite a lot of craft whilst waiting for child at gym
