I’ve finally managed to get my sewing machine working again. Hoping to finish the comforter project. Just have to sew the new cover to the comforter and that’s another one done. I do like seeing the stash pile decreasing.Got quite a bit of fabric squares which I keep looking at for inspiration, thinking if I can sew all the same ones together to make a big piece of fabric…..might be able to make the pinafore dress I would like.Shall keep thinking. Am loving all the amazing things everyone else is making. Some very clever folk in this group.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Loving all the quilts so clever!!!
@auti that toadstool bag is adorable! I want one 😂
@daisy_1571 those painted cards are beautiful!
You've all been so busy it's lovely to see!
I've just started back trying to finish the painted shoes intime for Christmas. We've got rid of quite a few boxes of craft stuff but obviously not the way we had hoped! And probably not the stuff I would of chosen to get rid of either!
But on a positive note we are a step towards better temporary accommodation, fingers crossed in early January we will have space for the Craft stuff etc!12 -
@Cupcakecraftscuddlycanine nice to hear some positive news!! Fingers crossed for a lovely new year for you.

I am going to make book marks with craft group in January. I am hoping to appeal to all levels of skill. We have leather, aida, embroidery thread, flower punches, card, pens, colouring pencils, card blanks to colour and a laminator. I have also suggested tgat they bring along a favourite christmas cardcif they like. Any ideas for others we can make would be very welcome. I will be making up some samples before January 8th.

Hi just delurking for a minute
@Soontobeoap you could also use wide ribbon with fabric pens or other small fabric strips edged with blanket stitch or braided yarn. I have done these with the kids in school. You could also include a photocopy of a fav photograph or a nice picture from a magazine. I do wish I lived near you
Take care everyone8
