@plumduff55 that hat is lovely!
My last to report for the year (i suspect anyway) leaves me at 212/200. Finally finished the blouse. Not overly keen on it, but looks vaguely smart and will wear it tomorrow for a family meal. The buttons are on the back- good job too, as the fabric pulled when I cut the buttonholes 🤦♀️

@daisy_1571 thank you so much for taking the time to write out the instructions for the bell. I have been so busy working for my husband this week, I hadn't a chance to thank you earlier. I am so looking forward to creating bells after Christmas, I have lots of Christmas fabric and a bagful of smalls pieces of wadding to use up. They will be next years Christmas presents for the family, as I sew them something different most years LOL. Have a wonderful Christmas.7

Hope everyone has had a lovely festive season
I went to put my new top on and it's too tight- I must have put the buttons in the wrong place as it was fine size wise before I did buttonholes etc. I will move them and see if it is salvageable!

I totally agree @Soontobeoap. I have enjoyed chatting on this thread. My big fail of the year was the crochet temperature blanket I started in January. I was very enthusiastic but after 4 months lost interest. I still have all the wool so may (just may) restart in May 😳.
At the moment I am knitting a wardrobe for Barbie for dgd who is 4 at the end of the month. I gave her a preschool Barbie for her Christmas but didn't have time to finish the clothes. I'm knitting a ball gown in 4 ply just now and it's killing me. I hate 4 ply 😡.
Anyway, Happy New Year to everyone and hope we're all as productive next year xx

Finally, finally I have got around to writing the 'completed' list!!
In the last 2 months I have been sewing flat out as I realised that folk wanted items for Christmas so that I needed to 'cash in'! on that. Talk about a red hot sewing machine
I can't say my house looks any emptier- it should. One week I was given 8 human duvets: overflowing bin bags everywhere.....
I made a prototype of the pyramid pouch in October and since then I have made 88!! most of which are sold. I took a small amount out of each purchase towards the materials (all new) and then the rest has gone to the assistance charity Dogs for Good.
Most of my purchases were for the pouches- Christmas fabric & dog themed prints. Another £35 spent
Other purchases were metallic thread (what used to be Gold fingering) for the angels
I bought 100 x 8" zips from Amazon for £11 - bargain
Instead of the iron-on batting which is very expensive I randomly quilted each & every 6" square with batting left overs from the doggy duvets- so that was free. All the lining was also free made from whatever I had in the stash.
So here we go:
24 crochet angels
14 Christmas cards
4 Oxford style pillowcases (from thick vintage 100% cotton sheeting given to me)
15 kennel coats (12 from donated peach blanket!)
1 woven bone
1 lined bag
37 doggy duvets
88 pyramid pouches (for pooches)
total 184 (to add to signature!)
Income- sale of angels & pouches £114.50Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
