Afternoon all, happy Saturday 🥂
Went to the big Mr T this morning and stopped off at the local chemists on the way to complain about Mr SA’s blood pressure prescription tablets being damaged when I open the pack. I’ve had to throw several away as the capsules are open and unusable as the powder is everywhere. They didn’t seem very interested to be honest so I said maybe they should feed this back to their suppliers. They won’t I could tell by their reaction. It will get to the stage where he runs out of tablets before the prescription is due if it carries on like this.DS and the GKs visited and the Christmas decorations are finally in the loft 🥳 DS put them in a very accessible place so it will be easy to get them back down. Mr SA was being really stupid about me going up the ladder as I’m not trained on them like he is 🙄
I ordered Mr SA a replacement head for his shaver so he’s now decided he needs a new set of hair clippers. It’s never ending with him is it! Once he’s decided he ‘needs’ something he goes on and on about it until you finally cave in. He’d be a useful torture weapon for anyone who wanted to extract top secret information.Today’s exercise has been walking to/from the big Mr T and day 17 of the yoga challenge.Tonight is pizza and Prosecco night.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
That's bad about the tablets. Did the chemist at least offer to replace them?Your suggestion that Mr SA be used as a top secret torture weapon made me chuckle!😁Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Only if I opened the whole lot. I showed them the tablet that had disintegrated this morning. I realise it’s not the chemist’s fault but they should take it up with their suppliers as this is the second lot in a row it’s happened with now.Seasidegal58 said:That's bad about the tablets. Maybe it is time to try a new chemist. I stopped using my local one a few years ago. I had been on the same meds for years & got fed up with the - we only have enough for 7 days thing.1

That's disgraceful, fair enough an occasional tablet or two might crack but the extent you're describing is not acceptable, yellow card that

Good thought PiP - split capsules aren't fit for purpose and can result in under dosing or spill out where a pet or child could get at them.
I ordered my tablets a couple of days early each time so in the end I had two week's worth in hand for those times when the chemist hadn't got what was needed.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Morning all.I’ve been up for a couple of hours it’s just me and the dog at the minute, DD and Mr SA are still asleep. The main aim for today is to give the whole house a good clean. It has been neglected somewhat this past week due to being busy. It’s had a cursory wipe/vacuum round but not a deep clean so that’s a job for today.I need to do a meal plan for the week to use up items in stock. I’m doing quite well with the grocery budget this month as we had a good level of stocks left from last month. It should be a NSD today unless Mr SA comes up with something he desperately needs NOW.I’m going to make a batch of carrot and butterbean soup from a PON recipe for work lunches. Will decide on tonight’s dinner when I’ve checked what needs using up first.I want to finish reading my current book today and also a Christmas magazine I seem to have been reading forever. If I get time I’d like to do a bit more decluttering.Exercise plan is dog walking later, strength training (FitOn) and day 18 of the yoga challenge.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
