Forgot to add a couple of money related bits, one is I received the latest energy statement and this month has used £100 of the credit, still in credit by over £400 though. Secondly the interest rate on the savings account I use for the sinking funds is going down to next to nothing so I need to find an easy access account with a better rate. I noticed YBS have one with a much better rate and I'm already with them.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Oh, I know what a food inventory is. I'm just amazed when someone who isn't Martha Stewart has onegreenbee said:
That's something organised people who menu plan do. Unlike those of us who just pull stuff out of the freezer when we're starving and hope it's edible...doingitanyway said:Freezer inventory?!
I hope Mr SA and you are both OK after his 'adventure'.

Although I shouldn't be surprised as @Sun_Addict is super organised!
Sorry to hear about SA's fall @Sun_Addict
Sunny but cold here too...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Morning all, not long until the weekend now.
WFH today. Good job really as I didn't wake up until 5.30, I usually get up no later than 5.
I had a lovely relaxing start to the day reading with a coffee under my heated throw cuddling the dog.
The skip is being picked up any time now. Such a shame we couldn't fill it, I hate to see a half empty skip. I asked next door if he had anything for it but he didn't.
Today's exercise is day 15 of the yoga challenge, dog walking later, a lunchtime live strength training class and live Zumba at 5.15.
Tonight's dinner is vegetable biryani with caramelised onions. I had to change my planned meal as it needs mushrooms and I don't have any at the moment. The new recipe will use up some swede and carrots which is great. Sorry I can't find the recipe online, it's one I cut out of a magazine some time ago and having been meaning to make for a while.
It's the first park volunteers group meeting of the year tonight. Part of me wants to go but will see how I feel later about trekking out in the dark and cold.
Money wise not a lot going off today, if I don't go to the meeting it will be a NSD.

That’s another working week done.Worked in the office until just after lunchtime then had an early finish.Picked up a free coffee from the Gr£ggs app on the way to work.Mr SA started his what time are you finishing calls at 12 despite me telling him I’d phone when I was on my way to Lid! So annoying as it makes me feel I have to rush when Friday is the only day I don’t have to.Had a potter around town, picked up a bargain crochet bolero for summer in the 70% off MnS sale reduced to £8.25. It will look lovely with sleeveless dresses in the summer/on holiday. Also bought 2 t shirts for £11.50 from Sp0rts D to replace my exercise tops that have seen better days. I usually wait until the tail end of sales as the smallest sizes tend to be left over.Mr SA started up a pester last night about desperately needing Brut aftershave as his chin is very sore. Reminded him we’re no longer in the 70s and a splash on aftershave on sore skin might be a tad tingly 😬 I bought him some aftershave soothing balm so he decided he needed a new shaver instead. Reminded him he only had a new one last year. So now he’s decided he needs a new shaver head 😖
Also picked him up some plant sterols to see if they help his cholesterol.Stopped off at Lid! on the way home and picked up the free sack of potatoes.Did day 16 of the yoga challenge then had a lovely soak in the bath.Opened a YBS Christmas Saver thank you for the heads up joeyjimbles. So today’s exercise was walking to/from work and the yoga.Tonight’s dinner was using up what was left of a bag of frozen stir fry veg mixed into half a pouch of coriander and lime rice which was very tasty.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)12 -
As you'd said you told Mr SA you'd meet him at Lid! and he was pestering you about your availability, I did momentarily read it as you calling him 'the free sack of potatoes' and was admiring your lowkey yet scathing insult 😂https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1
