I might look up that soup recipe, we have quite a few tins of butterbeans and I forget to use them though I like them.

I’ve just made it @Cherryfudge. It’s nice but I feel I need to add a bit more spice to it. Depends how spicy you like your food.I also added some swede as I only had 2 carrots.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
I like butterbeans too. I regularly used to make Rose Elliot's butterbean quiche.

Ooh, I have that book! Two soup recipes to look into, thanks ladies.
DH won't touch quiche so I will leave that for others to try. I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Afternoon all.
Worked in the office until lunchtime now back home for the afternoon shift. I wasn't feeling the love for walking to work in the dark this morning. At least it's been a bit milder today, I didn't need to wear my gloves which is my test of how cold/warm it is, when the scarf comes off too then it's positively balmy 😆
Picked up my free Ner0 coffee.
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home.
Usual Monday finance check done. CC balance paid off. Still doing well with the grocery budget. Have received a very tempting £18 off a £60 online shop from Mr S, might be worth using as a one-off if I can get a decent priced delivery slot. I used to shop with them years ago so it must be a sufficiently long enough time ago for me to be classed as a new customer. Worth looking at anyway.
Today's exercise walking to/from work, day 19 of the yoga challenge and live strength training at 7.15. I might do the live yoga/mindfulness session at 8pm too, I've been wanting to try that for a while.
Tonight's dinner is leftover rainbow vegetable biriyani I left out the raisins because I don't like sweet things in savoury food.
