That is good news. Awful that someone did that though. Glad she has them back.Sun_Addict said:

Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x2 -
I am glad Mr SA got the dentist
Your frog listed is motivating. I also like the idea of listing what has been done rather than what needs to be done.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I'm glad your friend got her points back.
When I was really struggling and overwhelmed I did a ta-da! list instead of a to-do list to list the small achievements rather than the ever growing things that needed doing.Debts 04/01/25 02/02/26

Happy Friday 😁
Worked in the office until late morning. Doing the afternoon shift from home. I usually finish early on Fridays but as I didn't need anything from the city centre I decided to do an almost full day. This means I'll be able to fit in the new live Zumba class this afternoon then log back on again for an hour or so.
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home. They had loads of great veg boxes but they've made it almost impossible to buy them. I'm going to send them feedback as where they've placed them is after the checkouts and people would struggle to get back to the tills with them. You have to scan your receipt to get out of the self checkout area and if you tried to get back through the other checkouts you'd have to squeeze by people in the queue and then queue all over again.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work, Zumba later this afternoon and day 23 of the yoga challenge.
Tonight's dinner is stir fry.
The decluttering will recommence tomorrow.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
What a ridiculous place to put veg boxes 🤷🏻♀️January spends - £587.582

The only time I've ever seen the veg boxes in ours is behind the checkouts, it's a pain (not that I see them very often!)"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

I our L1dl, they're the wrong side of the tills as well - possibly to stop people from swapping in 'good' fruit, but it's a nuisance. Once I've been through the till with my shopping, I have my hands full and it's hard to collect a box - then you've got to find a way back and queue to pay.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. Re the Lid! boxes I’ve sent feedback. They used to be at the checkout before you went through. Where they keep them now anyone could just walk off with one without paying in my opinion. There’s no one keeping an eye on them.I quite enjoyed my different Friday. I got a fair few work jobs ticked off the list while it was quiet this afternoon and still managed to fit in the Zumba class. I’ll do this again when possible. Bonus is I only used 30 minutes of my flexi.Out of the blue I got a call from the doctors saying I’m eligible for a pneumonia vaccine. Not wishing to tempt fate I said I rarely get a cold never mind anything worse so they’ve left me to think about it.At work reported cases of Chicken Pox and Shingles are on the increase. The areas have been deep cleaned and they say there’s no risk 😬 I’ve had chicken pox and Mr SA has had shingles so hopefully we’ll be ok.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
