No definitely not, there's very little left now so I know how many cans there should be.Debsnewbudget said:Just a thought but has Mr SA found some of the hidden beer?I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
Oh I'm really not, I just have no choice but to get on with it, most people would do the same.Blackcats said:I genuinely don't know how you cope. You are incredible.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
He just keeps getting the messages asking if he still wants the appointment. They say if you haven't heard anything from us in the next xx weeks to get in touch. The messages are classed as 'hearing something'. However he's got a liver can next week and he's going to mention it to the nurse even though they probably won't be able to do anything. I'm annoyed with myself for not mentioning it at his GP appointment a couple of weeks ago. It won't hurt to keep mentioning it at his medical appointments.beanielou said:Absolutely horrendous for you. Afternoon all, happy Monday.
Worked in the office until lunchtime, doing the afternoon shift from home.
Usual Monday finance check done and cc balance paid off. Just waiting for payday now to do the money shuffle. It's also the final week of the 4 week budget period.
Today was a NSD.
I'm starting to compile a list of things coming up/things I want to achieve in February. I can't believe January is almost over, it seems to have passed quickly this year.
The decluttering focus for this week is my desk drawers as they seem to have got a bit out of hand.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work, day 26 of the yoga challenge and a live strength training class tonight.
Tonight's dinner is scampi from freezer stocks with wedges and salad.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
I’m pleased you’ve taken up the pneumonia jab. I had pneumonia after the first time I had surgery….I was so poorly my body couldn’t fight things off then a year or so later I had the jab….the 2nd time I had similar surgery and was poorly again I didn’t get pneumonia and I’m convinced it was the jab that helped m 😁

Afternoon all.
What a wet and windy day! I had to catch the bus to/from work today and still got drenched. At least I'm WFH for the next two days so the weather can do what it wants.
I was hoping for a NSD again but the bus fare scuppered that. No other spends though.
Worked in the office until just before lunchtime then finished up at home. I've had to do online AI training this afternoon as I've been selected to receive a licence.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from bus stops both ends, still clocked up almost 10,000 steps so far as both stops are a decent walk away. I need to do day 27 of the yoga challenge shortly and I'm attending a live resistance bands class tonight.
Tonight's dinner is a concoction of veg in the slow cooker with passata and a dollop of red pesto. I've retrieved some veggie balls out of the depths of the freezer that have been in there absolutely ages so will add those to the veg along with some chickpeas. There'll be enough for two portions so have earmarked portion 2 for Thursday's dinner.

Morning all, happy hump day.
WFH today. Had a nice relaxing start to the day not having to rush off to the physical office.
I had a small Mr M delivery this morning, just Mr SA's beer as he's run out and it's on offer again plus a couple of other bits. I have the majority of this week's shopping arriving tomorrow with the Mr S delivery to take advantage of the £18 off a £60 spend voucher.
Mid-week finance check done, cc balance cleared and an oddment of £1.78 has gone to the Christmas pot. Also moved the appliances replacement pot to the YBS easy access account. Gradually moving the bigger pots over for the better interest rate.
Mr SA has his dentist appointment shortly. As he hasn't been for 4 years thanks to falling off their books it could potentially be quite expensive if he needs a lot doing.
Also got the plumber coming today to look at the leaking pipe under the sink. Had to remember to clear out the under sink cupboard. OMG the amount of stuff under there. I'll declutter and organise it when it's ready to go back in.
Decluttered a set of drawers in my home office last night so there's just my desk to do. A few bits I won't use have gone in the charity bag.
If I get time today I'll do my desk drawers. I also want to sort out freezer contents now they're going down a fair bit.
Today's exercise plan is live yoga at 7.30 (already done), day 28 of the yoga challenge later this afternoon, dog walking when Mr SA gets back from the dentists and live Zumba at 6pm.
Tonight's dinner is Vegan Singapore Noodles with Tofu.
DD is at work so I'm going to have an extended lunch break to give the kitchen and bathroom a good clean while she's not constantly in and out of them. I'll time it for when Mr SA has his afternoon sleep.

The days I WFH I gain an extra 2 plus hours that I'd spend walking to/from work and any trips to Lid! on office days.

Mr SA went for his dental appointment this morning, he had the usual check up/scale and polish and x-ray costs plus an expensive filling to be done over two appointments. Because this filling has fallen out 3 times before he's got to have a special porcelain inlay made. Total cost for all this work is just over £300! I'm not surprised to be honest as it's been so long since he last went. Fortunately the x-ray results were fine.
The leaking pipe has been replaced so that's done. I just need to give the under sink cupboard a wipe out before replacing all the cleaning supplies.
Fortunately I'd kept back £400 from the last regular saver that matured while I decided where to send it so this has covered Mr SA's dental costs and the rest has covered the plumbing repair. It has highlighted the need for a dental pot for Mr SA though so this will be a new addition to the sinking funds. I pay monthly for my dentist as he's private and you have to take out insurance with them to cover the costs.
