Morning all, happy Saturday 🥂
It’s just me and the dog up at the moment, enjoying the peace and quiet before Mr SA crashes into the day leaving a trail of crumbs and mud wherever he goes. Probably preceded by DD thudding about with a face like a wet weekend in Bognor.
I need to have a very productive weekend as we have nowhere to be and no visitors. We don’t even need to go to the big Mr T.
I’m going to make a big to do list of what I’d like to achieve and divide it into two days so it’s not so daunting. Some downtime will be factored in though. It will probably be a NSD weekend too.

Well so far:
Did a morning yoga session before taking the dog on the park and doing a litter pick.
As the weather was so nice I stayed outside and spent a good hour in the garden tidying up. Discovered I have a whole tray of mixed salad leaves in the greenhouse - I forgot that I planted some seeds. Also my little orange tree has produced some oranges, far too small to eat though. It looks a bit tidier out there now.
Gardening had to stop when Mr SA appeared dead on 12 to ask where his lunch was. After lunch did a freezer inventory of both freezers then sat and made a master meal plan for February. Jotted down what needs using up and a few new recipes I want to try.
Mr SA had his nap then took the dog on the park again. When he came back he was in a panic because he couldn’t find his phone, said it was in his pocket but no longer there. I phoned it but we couldn’t hear it ringing in the house. Then I spotted it on the kitchen worktop obviously where he put it when he came back in from the park. We couldn’t hear it ringing because he’d switched off the ringtone although he claims he didn’t 😖
I’m chilling with the dog again now. The cleaning jobs can wait until tomorrow when DD is back at work.
Tonight is pizza, Prosecco and The Masked Singer 🥂

That sounds a lovely day (minus Mr SA 'losing' his phone and demanding lunch, I don't know which would make me lose my temper more 😂)
Enjoy your well earned lovely Saturday evening 🥂

What does Mr SA do about lunch when you're not there?
Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases
One income, home educating family1 -
I make it for him the night before and put it in the fridge, usually just a couple of cheese and ham rolls. He’s happy with this in the week but he likes bacon rolls at the weekend 😐 Pre brain damage he used to be pretty good at cooking but has unfortunately lost that ability.

Great idea, thank you.

Morning all, happy February. That’s January done and dusted for another year.
I fell asleep on the sofa with the dog last night and we woke up at midnight! Thankfully once I made it to bed I fell asleep straightaway.
DD has gone to work and Mr SA is still in bed so it’s just me and the dog again.
Another productive day is planned but today’s focus is on cleaning.
The first new recipe of the month to try is spicy roasted carrot, kale and coconut dhal from the Lid! app. I have quite a few carrots to use up so am also making carrot, coriander and butterbean soup (an old favourite WW recipe).
I’m also going to do a root touch up and eyebrow tint. Plus a face mask when I have a bath later. Oh and paint my nails. So a bit of self care planned in.
Today’s exercise will be dog walking and I’m going to try a Pilates session later from the FitOn app.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Well the dhal from the Lid! app was very nice. There are a few nice recipes on there and I like how you can favourite them and change the portions. I made two portions so portion two is earmarked for Tuesday.
