Ouch to the bill but glad it wasn't worse and that you had the funds spare

Is it evil of me to suggest that you should've told Mr SA that he has to forfeit future beer and man-bags until the cost of his dental work is covered?! 😎😂

I use the free Spotify as well. Some briliant podcasts around. Especially love What's Up Docs? Also Dr Chateree.

I usually make my own but these were on Mr M's online equivalent of a yellow sticker (flash sales) so were half price so I thought I'd give them a try. I've had them in my freezer for ages. They're nicer than I expected them to be to be honest.

I nipped downstairs to grab something to eat before the lunchtime meeting. Good job I allowed plenty of time as Mr SA dropped a full glass of cola all over the living room floor and it went everywhere. I was planning to clean that room but later in the day. So I had to postpone my lunch to clear it all up before it went sticky. Moving his chair revealed loads of crumbs which had stuck to the cola. So I ended up cleaning the living room and only just got back in time for the meeting. Had to eat my lunch while I was notetaking, thankfully we didn't have our cameras on. I've also had to tell him about wiping his feet or changing his footwear when he comes in from the garden as there was a trail of mud everywhere. The canvas shoes he earmarked for slippers to wear indoors only are caked in mud at the bottom. Can you imagine if we had one of those robot vacuums/mops - it would be worn out after a couple of days of constantly following him around!

You must have the patience of a saint. I couldn't put up with all that you have to do.

Would it help to put reminder notes around in the same way that you might for a dementia patient? So one on the back door saying "Change to outdoor shoes now", and another before he walks far from the back door on the way in saying "Have you put indoor shoes on?" or words to that effect? You've said before that the brain injury affects his perception of needing to do things like that, so presumably the prompts could fill in that gap?
