Afternoon all.
Worked in the office until lunchtime, home for the afternoon shift. The worst part of the working week is already behind me as I'm WFH tomorrow and Thursday and finish early on Fridays.
Money wise it's a NSD. I need to call the local plumber we've used before as I've discovered a leak under the kitchen sink but I don't plan to do that until tomorrow.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work, I'm doing day 20 of the yoga challenge later and a live resistance bands class.
Trying a new recipe for tonight's dinner 1 pan tempeh vegan bolognese I was meant to be making this last week but didn't have enough mushrooms.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Morning all, happy hump day.
WFH today.
Mid week finance check done. CC balance cleared. Oddment of £1.10 sent to the Christmas pot - target of £150 by the end of January already hit, next target £200 by end of February.
Mr M delivery arrived at 6.30, nothing missing or subbed.
Today's exercise is live yoga (done), dog walking later this morning, a short strength training session at lunchtime, day 21 of the 10 minutes yoga challenge and live Zumba tonight.
Tonight's dinner is an old favourite with the smoked basa, cauliflower and leek with lentil rice. Using up freezer/fridge/store cupboard stocks.

And, I've been trying tempeh lately. It is so high in protein and a good fermented food. Did you steam it first? If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

No I've never steamed tempeh, I just cook it as directed by the recipe. Yesterday I chopped it in a food processor so it resembled breadcrumbs then did the same with a punnet of mushrooms.doingitanyway said:

Your Christmas pot is coming along nicely. I’d been putting cash on an Asd@ savings card to get the £15 bonus for teh Christmas just gone. I still have £150 left so that’s a couple of shops I won’t need to use cash for 😁.January spends - £587.581
