Happy birthday to your daughter for tomorrow! And I hope Mr SA's appointment goes well and you get to ask the questions you need to - and that they can communicate it to him.

Satisfaction from a successfully decluttered cupboard sounds okay as a trade off for a gloomy day. It's been miserable here too but I don't think I've as much to show for it.

I refused statins for high cholestrol, and told Dr I would change my diet & do more exercise. Also take plant sterols, as they are a natural way to lower it.  Might be worth Mr SA trying them. Its genetic in my case, but still hope to get the levels down.

Thanks for mentioning plant sterols, it's worth him giving them a try. Two of my friends were diagnosed with high cholesterol despite eating healthily on the whole. They made a few tweaks to their diets/exercise and managed to get the levels down to acceptable.

There are a few plants that help reduce cholesterol levels - it's worth doing some research. This and exercise help, but may not be enough for some people.

Basically a list of freezer contents that I aim but often fail to keep up to date as and when things are used up/added.
