    Afternoon all.

Going back to the office this morning wasn't as bad as I'd anticipated. It was a lot busier than I was expecting though. I put a thick jumper on as I thought with the office being empty for a few days they would've turned off the heating. Quite the opposite and unusually for me I was boiling hot. I started to feel a bit faint so decided to come back home just after 10. I felt a lot better for being out in the fresh air and now I've had my lunch I feel fine. Hopefully I'll continue to feel ok, I did wonder if I was starting to come down with the lurgy at one point.

Stopped off at Lid! on the way home. I took advantage of a couple of my usual buys that I had 15% off coupons for and I'd qualified for a free bottle of pop so picked that up for Mr SA, he really likes the cola max they do.

Picked up my free coffee on the way to work this morning.

Monday finance check done and spreadsheet reconciled. CC balance paid off. An oddment of £3.04 has gone to the Christmas 2026 pot. The Principality Christmas Saver matures on Thursday so have asked them to close the account and send it to the current account. I think I'll divide the proceeds between the emergency fund and my retirement pot. I'll check to see if they're doing another Christmas Saver next month.

Today's exercise has been walking to/from work. I'm going to do a strength training and yoga session later. No live classes until Friday so will be doing something from YT.

Tonight's dinner is harissa prawn orzo an old favourite recipe. The creamed cabbage and leeks I made last night was really tasty and I'd definitely make it again. I sliced up a few sprouts and added them to the mix.

Principality are doing a Christmas Saver 2026. I have the Christmas saver 2025 maturing on the 29th, so today I opened the new account.

So many bugs and viruses doing the rounds and by the sounds of it, people are taking weeks to recover with some having relapses. Let’s hope it was a blip today and not the start of something. The thought of being ill with Mr SA around doesn’t bear thinking about.

I opened the Principality Christmas 2026 Regular Saver in October. I like both the 6 months RS and the yearly accounts from Principality as well, plus their customer service is excellent.

Mr SA never feels better, I've found it's best not to ask him as he'll bombard me with a list of ailments.

I've got two of the 6 months savers with them. I also open a YBS Christmas Saver when they offer them in January, although they only run to October.
